We are open daily for coffee 7am-4pm and our kitchen is open daily 8am-1pm for breakfast and brunch. Locally owned Downtown Coffee Shop in Paso Robles. Located central and walking distance from downtown Paso Robles lodging. We currently feature local coffee roaster Spearhead for our quality coffee bean selection. We focus on traditional style coffee and seek to elevate with our house crafted syrups. We have moved all live piano performances to our sister location LIBRETTO across the street which features a concert grand Steinway & Sons piano. At this time we only offer in person orders especially on weekends. Seating is first come first serve. We look forward to serving you!

This is the best cafe in town! Clean and comfortable space with friendly and efficient staff. Highly recommend the Amstrdm Breakfast sando with croissant. the pastry is light and flaky, layered with tender eggs and avocado. Definitely ask for their famous homemade fermented hot sauce!

The barista was so sweet. I was meeting someone and don’t normally go out for coffee, I told her just to make me what she likes. It was a caramel something and so delicious. Plenty of seating. And a nice quiet place to work or relax.

My wife and I have been to Amsterdam for coffee a few times, coffee is good but the food is subpar for the price and what it is. Would reccomend for coffee, not so much for food. Staff wasnt rude but I wouldn’t say they were kind either. Theyre ususally pretty cold. The atmosphere is nice, love the open windows. Here’s a photo of the pesto chicken sandwich.

If you are in Paso and you like coffee, this is the place to go. I am a bit of a coffee snob and this place is top quality 3rd wave coffee. The percent Latte in the morning, my wife got a sweet mocha and we came back every day. The place was packed every day.

This place is awesome! It’s open and airy. It has a very welcoming atmosphere. It appears that many locals pop in to grab their coffee or a burrito. I met Corey, I think he’s the owner, either way he was very service oriented and helpful. Even recommending another location for me to try out for a sit down breakfast.

When I searched for coffee shops in Paso Robles one of the first things to catch my attention was the red half door at AMSTRDM Coffee house. Naturally, and pretty typical of me, I became preoccupied with sitting in a lounge chair sipping a cortado at the shop. As we walked down the street towards AMSTRDM I caught glimpse of the large red pane windows open wide and allowing the coastal breeze flow into the shop. I giddily made my way to the shop with a really good feeling about it. Walking up to the coffee counter I caught glimpse of the inside of a piano gloriously displayed on the counter wall. AMSTRDM is a beautiful coffee house made perfect for travelers, folks visiting with one another, remote workers and people want to sit, relax and enjoy the setting.
Here is the best part, the baristas were amazingly kind. They also made a pretty tasty cortado; which was exactly why I was there.

From the moment we walked in the barista greeted us like we were old friends. The coffee was excellent and the food was delicious! What impressed me was that we were the only people in there that weren’t locals. The staff knew everyone and it was nice to see the camaraderie. We had just left another establishment because their staff was so rude so walking into AMSTRDM was a breath of fresh air! I highly recommended!
