Parking lot was packed and so was the resturaunt, we had to park on the streets , no biggie.
I take crowdedness as a good sign and it was a very good sign indeed….. As you can see from my 5 star rating!
Its a tent type restaurant , spacious inside but because they where so packed it felt cramped.
I ordered my “go to” which is two chicken tacos and my husband ordered the super buritto.
Once we ordered and paid they give you your receipt with an order number and serve the food to you at your table. Nice touch.
Everyone was nice and friendly.
Grandma was there making tortillas.
lunch and a show!
The aroma of the freshly made tortillas was amazing !
Our food came out about 10 mins after we ordered.
Quick service.
Now for the 5 stars!
The food alone was worth 5 stars!
My husbands asada super burrito was super hefty, filled with tender, juicy and flavorful meat, the rice was so fluffy and fresh , guacamole , sour cream, cheese was all on point.
The two tacos where also great! Chicken was flavorful, tender and fresh, they had an amazing flavor to them and honestly I didnt even need any salsa that’s how amazing the flavors are…
And the Fresh tortillas really make a huge difference!
The only “down” side was the fact that they had no salsa at the salsa bar, they had diced onions and cilantro and some sliced lemon wedges.
They bring you there green salsa when they bring you your food.
And,
At each table they had this super thick and super spicy sauce , not covered , just exposed and used by anyone and everyone who sits at that table.
Way to thick and spicy for my taste.
And the green salsa they bring to you was a 3 outta 5 stars for me, much to thin and watery. But decent in flavor.
The Jamaica (drink) was a 3.5 outta 5 , I’ve had better.
Overall the food alone was worth it, and thats the main part.
There clean too because we saw them wiping tables immediately after someone leaves. And grandma washing her hands before making the tortillas.
Our bill came out to 16$ roughly. So they are very affordable.
We loved it and will be back soon!
Service is terrible.
* Grabbed a chicken tamales. 8/10. Lots of masa .
*plate of chile verde. Sauce was delicious.
