OK, when this place was in the works I had high hopes for the business and the town, Weiser is not necessarily a mecca for good places to eat out. Nicely renovated, well decorated, clean and obviously wanting to be part of the community with the support of youth fishing opportunities, rods &reels on the walls sponsored for kids by people with $20 bucks. I/we liked it from first impression.
Not very busy, table of 6 finishing up and an already served table for two. Given the amount of customers present 35 to 40 minutes after ordering (which was quick, pleasant waitress) was on the side of too long but time passed quickly.
Beer selection is from around the state with my faborite of all time Laughing Dog’s Huckleberry Cream Ale from Sandpoint Idaho.
Food arrived, thanked waitress, etc. Had burgers, the veggies were crisp and fresh, buns were of the quality to handle a juicy burger without falling apart but turns out there was no juice left in the meat, it was cooked like crispy bacon and reduced to about 1/8 pound from 1/3 pound. No special signature sauce, ketchup, mustard and mayo at the table. Except for the patties the burgers had a lot going for them. Fries, I am a fry eating machine, don’t have them very often but when I do I eat mine and anyone else’s who can’t finish, well they were cold, fries have to be hot, these were cold lifeless cardboard sticks, I could tell they would have been great given the coating.
Disappointing but I like the place for everything else. Will go back but not for fries or burgers, they have other sandwiches that I should try before I decide to write them out of my rare adventures eating out. I believe the over done burger patties doomed the waiting period and made the fries inedible. We never leave fries that look this good. Never give up, never surrender, there is hope for everything, maybe they had a bad day?

Very nice atmosphere. Beautiful large photos of Idaho scenery on the walls. Family friendly. Good food (great french fries!). Pleasant and helpful staff. Will definitely make this a regular place to eat.

Been here a couple times every time I’ve eaten, I’ve had the chicken strips which are amazing! My dad had the coconut shrimp and they were to die for! Deliciois fries and the salads look amazing haven’t tried them yet but I’m not worried about being disappointed. So, if your in Weiser and don’t know where to eat definitely look up angler’s. Very happy with the service and waitresses are great!

Fantastic food with generous portion sizes to match. The seasoning on the fries is a flavor that you won’t find anywhere else. My girlfriend and I had a great time eating our meal while chatting with their friendly staff. Although we don’t get to travel through Weiser too often. We plan on stopping here every time.

The atmosphere is nice if you can get past the owner being snobby and running around like a chicken with their head cut off. Service is fast if you have Amy. She’s awesome. The food isn’t the best and overly priced.

The staff was lovely and fun to interact with, the food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was laidback and easy-going. I am from out of town but I come to Weiser often and Anglers will definitely be at the top of my list to visit again and again.

Ordered the special appetizer… Out of muscles… they were digging in the freezer to find some more. Um no thank you of they are in the freezer. Ordered lezza chili fries, the onions were supposed to be diced but were a rough chop. The onions were huge. Hubby ordered the finger streaks they were tender but lacked flavor and the breading was faking off 🙁 i ordered the 1/3 pound blue cheese burger… the hamburger was no were near a 1/3 of a pound. Was flat and over cooked, charred and lacked flavor. Really disappointed as heard some good things about this new restaurant. The fries were good but didn’t compensate for the overcooked burger. Head on my beer was at least 2″. Waitress couldn’t tell us anything about their craft beer menu. From the looks of it she needs to learn a proper pour on craft beer. Don’t think we’ll come back.

We ate here when it first opened and let me say worst food ever it came from a can the steaks are over priced and the owner is very rude and inconsiderate. My daughter worked for her and she didn’t get paid for all the hours she worked and had her sit as well as me for 40 mins to get her final check only one table of people and other wait staff so there was no need for the long wait.

Have eaten at every place pic this town to Ontario and I have to say this is by far the best. Best steak, nice and tender, meme in ur mouth and everything is home made ! Definitely recommend!!!

This is one of my favorite restaurants In town,they have great service. My favorite meal is the bacon cheeseburger, and my favorite drink is the strawberry lemonade,with fresh strawberries.
