Very nice place in Andalusia. Caught their lunch buffet on a return trip to Florida. I enjoyed it enough to take the hour plus ride back to bring the family. The roast beef is excellent. The chicken tenders were just right and there was a nice salad bar.I plan to return often.

TabbyD’s is a true gem for anyone craving a taste of downhome cooking. This buffet-style restaurant delivers on its promise of classic Southern comfort food, and it does so with delicious results. The star of the show on Wednesday for many will undoubtedly be the perfectly cooked pork chops, tender and flavorful. Thursday has the best “fall off the bone” ribs you’ll ever put in your mouth! Come early that day because it’s always busy. But don’t overlook the crispy chicken tenders, a hit with all ages, and the absolute must-try fried green tomatoes – a tangy, savory delight that epitomizes Southern charm. Abundantly supplied salad bar and plenty of homemade dessert options like cake, cobbler and even soft serve ice cream make it even better. They also have Coke Zero!!!!

With generous portions and a welcoming atmosphere, TabbyD’s is the kind of place where you leave feeling full, happy, and already planning your next visit. The owner walks around greeting folks and the service is great. It’s a fantastic spot for a satisfying, unpretentious meal that feels just like grandma used to make. Yum. Yum. This buffet is a must do. We drove over from Evergreen and it was well worth the drive.

If you’re looking for a great place to grab some Southern comfort food that won’t break the bank, look no further than Tabby D’s in Andalusia, Alabama.

The friendly staff immediately made me feel welcome as I entered the clean and inviting atmosphere of the restaurant. The buffet was stocked with a variety of delicious options, but the country fried steak and roast beef were the standouts for me. The meat was tender and flavorful, and left me feeling satisfied.

As if that weren’t enough, I indulged in a delectable cherry cobbler that took me back to my grandmother’s kitchen, paired with some creamy vanilla ice cream. Yum!

Overall, I would definitely recommend Tabby D’s to anyone looking for a great meal and great service. The prices are reasonable, the people are friendly, and the food is delicious. Don’t miss out on this Andalusia classic!

Buffet style restaurant with fantastic country cooking. “All you can eat” salad, vegetables, entrees, drinks and desert. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was homey. If you are in the mood for a delicious “southern comfort” meal, you will enjoy this restaurant.

This is one of my favorite places to eat. The food is always fresh, tables are clean, and your tea glass doesn’t go empty. They have an excellent buffet that is worth every penny. Plenty of seating. Clean restrooms here, too. Opens at 11:00AM and closes at 2:00PM. ALSO OPEN ON SUNDAY.

This is one of the best places I have ever eaten. The food is amazing and it’s a buffet. The staff is extremely friendly. The lady that comes around and thanks you for coming here is so nice and makes this place extra special. The food is consistently great. They also have a salad bar and several desserts to choose from. Best place in Andelusia to eat.

A few notes from my visit. The food was ok, the chicken strips were the best things on the buffet. The potatoes and mac and cheese needed salt. The place could use an overall deep cleaning. When at the table I noticed the window sills were dirty, and the blinds had food splatters on them. The cake was really dry. The lady next to me at the desert bar found a hair in the pudding and decided to eat it anyway. You could improve by seasoning your food better and doing a deep clean.

Came in for my birthday. They just opened and the food was dry and cold. Couldn’t finish my plate. Hardly any options and definitely not worth the price.
On another note; the server/waitress was very nice and attentive.
