My family and I road trip a lot and stop by a lot of mexican and bbq spots, and this one completely blew it out the park. First and first-most, the service was really great, The guacamole was absolutely incredible and the food, really delicious. We got the brisket dinner, the chicken and steak dinner, and the smokehouse burger and everything was amazing. Not going to lie, the location was questionable but it was super great. We even saw one of the workers help an old lady that needed help with her tire outside. Very great restaurant and the owners should be proud of how amazing their son served us. Great kid.

In the area making a purchase and stopped in here for lunch. The parking lot was a little crowded but we were able to park and go in. Inside was not nearly as busy as the parking lot made it look. They have a variety of options on the menu (seafood, burgers, sandwiches, comfort food). Pricing was good for the quality and quantity. The waitress (Charise?) was a rockstar. She was the only employee we saw and she running everything smoothly. Meal was delicious. The place is spotless. I wish it wasn’t an hour away from home. I hope the owners know how great their employees are.

The service was great. The space was super cool. Stopped in for a bite while getting off interstate for a minute. I ordered a BLT, but the bread choices should include just plain bread. I opted for a po boy. Hmmmm, way too much bread. Ingredients were pretty fresh, though. By the name, I was expecting chicken… but sadly, it’s not a chicken place.

Liked the previous building better. It was cute and cozy. The new place is bigger, but lost the cozy feel. Now, its just a bigger place with little atmosphere. In spite that, the food is still some of the best food around. Prices are reasonable. The chicken Alfredo is fantastic or try the mufeletta as a salad. Great owners, nice family. Friendly Staff and Good Food, What more could you ask for? In all the times we’ve driven by and had no idea this little restaurant was just sitting right next door. Breakfast was amazing, Cold Brew hit the spot, my husband enjoyed the Surf and Turf Sandwich at 9 am, and The potato salad is different but so delicious! Highly Recommend. Hoping more stops in the future when passing through.

This place is amazing! Rest stop right before exit 635 on I-20 west side. Carlos (owner) is so nice, menu is fabulous! We had Gator andouille sausage po’boy & cole slaw – delish! Cappuccino was great too! Atmosphere super welcoming! Tell your friends and don’t miss going there! It will be a frequent stop for me any time I’m coming through again!

Saw this place when I stopped for the day at the Texas welcome center. Their menu looks great from top to bottom but I had to try the Blackened Shrimp Po boy and the Alligator Andouille sausage. They both were made quick and were delicious and fresh. The sausage had a nice little kick to them and was really filling. Definitely a cool little spot that I wouldn’t have ever found without stopping at this rest area. Quick service, great food and choices, and very friendly staff! Give this place a try!
