Village Pizza has been a staple in Sturbridge for as long as I can remember. Always a go to!! For those who remember where the OLD Cumberland Farms was, know what i mean!!! Their former reputation has led to success, but unfortunately no longer being operated by the same people who prided themselves on service, quality, integrity, and community, has put them where are. Convenient location, sure, consistency? No!! Concern for quality?! No! After not my first complaint over quality, i still tried to give them business, but when I call to express my concerns, and am told, “i made what you asked for, so….” Next time, call n ask for me for a discount….except wait, you never told me your name?! N I dont want your food ever again. I want to be credited for the food that went in the trash!!!

good spot for good food. decent prices, nice people not super friendly but good people. got gyro platter and onion rings. tons of onion rings – they were crunchy as they are supposed to be, and the gyro had a good ratio of meat as well – good flavor as well. took a while to get the food but that’s to be expected. did not dine -in, can’t speak to the dining room/area.

Every single time I’ve ordered from this place the food has been exceptional. Initially I had grabbed some pizza’s and it reminded me of the kind of pizza that I’d get when I was a kid. That already started to ring alarm bells that we may have something here.
Then I moved on to the calzones. Got a Hawaiian (twice) and a chicken, broccoli and alfredo one. All three times these guys absolutely nailed it.
The care put into the food here shows. It was a absolute privilege to enjoy it.
Price is like $15-25 depending on what you get. Do yourself a favor and just order it. The guy who made my last calzone (Hawaiian) deserves an award.
Seriously, do it.

I just got back from Village Pizza in Sturbridge mass. I called in advance to see if the dining room was open and I was answered. Yes it was. When my wife and I got there with my brother-in-law and sister-in-law, the waitress called in sick. Dining room was closed. The owner took it upon herself to sit us at a table and waited on us. We ordered lasagna, a cheeseburger platter and two fish and chips. This is above and beyond what owners should do when they’re so busy in the kitchen. But because they care about people themselves, they took care of my wife and my brother-in-law and sister-in-law. Also about nine other people came in while we were there and they took care of them also. Pizza delivery people were also helping. So if you need a place that’s good to eat and the people are great. This is the place I would recommend.

We happened to be in the area today so we got a couple small pizzas for take out. We have specific food habits, and they had no problem accommodating us. The girl at the take out counter was nice and smiled the entire time.
