Went in just before Thanksgiving to pick up my pies I ordered. It was very busy but very well organized and excellent customer service. Even though the owner was slammed she was still very nice and thank you to the employee (sorry I didn’t get your name) for helping me carry my order out to my car down the street!

Cute little place that I didn’t know has been there for almost two years. We’re in Smelterville fairly often, so this is a nice find. Disappointed we didn’t see the bulldog but we did get a delicious huckleberry cinnamon roll. Got s small loaf of pear bread for my wife which she said was good . Wrapped cookies up front are definitely not made here and were mediocre. Store is very clean.
Place looks to have a nice menu for the cafe side and we’ll look forward to giving it a try.

We stayed a week in Kellogg while we went skiing. We decided to check out this Mae’s market. We ended up getting a pear Blueberry pie, and pecan pie.
It was just ok. Both Pies became liquidity, almost like the Pies are frozen.
Staff was really friendly, and store was kept nice and they had a nice selection of beer and wine.

We went here for lunch and everything we bought was terrible. The chicken Cesar wrap was soggy and tasted plain. The chili was good but the Cornbread WAS DISGUSTING NO FLAVOR, CAKEY AND UNDERCOOKED! I wouldn’t feed this to my own dog! The way the cashier followed us around the entire store made us feel like we had to buy something. She was nice but don’t follow customers around the store! This happened last time we went here. I miss the way the Market used to be before Mae’s arrived. The concept is good to be able to eat inside and the 50’s diner booths are a nice touch but if your food is not edible then maybe change cooks because I’m a chef and this was unable to eat for me. And we spent $20 on crappy food!!!! I will not be recommending this place for food except maybe their baked goods. They do know how to bake. LOL ☠️

Came across this market when we were riding the beautiful Couer d’ Alene trail. We had the most delicious custom made sandwich and cookies, met Meaty the bulldog and the friendly staff. If we weren’t limited for space (we were on bikes) we’d have stocked up on some of the mouth watering baked goods. Do yourself a favour and check it out. It does not disappoint.

It’s a nice market for a tiny town but the last two times I came in, I was followed by the cashier and the dog,Meaty. I don’t mind Meaty but being bugged every minute to buy a pie, lunch,or anything was a big turn off for me. The hamburger I had was mediocre ,the jo-jo potato’s we’re soggy. I had to reheat/Air Fry them. The mini pie was Delicious. I have mixed reviews. Sorry but not worth the price of $13!
