I grew up in Cincinnati, and we had a brick and mortar Godfathers, and I loved it. It closed down and was saddened by it. I grew up thinking that I wouldn’t ever be able to taste that buttery crust only the way they did it ever again. I moved to Mt Vernon, Indiana, and found out that there was one in one of the local gas stations. I was very skeptical about going there until I just said, “Well, the only thing that could happen is that it’s not how I remembered.” Much to my surprise, it still tasted the exact same as I remembered. The nostalgia I felt in the first bite! It took me right back to being a kid again, only being able to eat just half a slice because of how my dad used to order the pizzas. The guy that works at the particular location, his name is Dre and is awesome!! He always has a smile on his face and now knows me by name and knows the exact thing I’m ordering as soon as I walk in.

Well it’s in a gas station but I have to say the pizza is pretty darn good. The sausage take and bake for $7.99 is great! And I don’t like sausage. Lol
