My husband and I have eaten at Bobo’s many times. They are fast for takeout (usually 15-20 min) and the pho is really good. We usually get the vegetarian pho. It has lots of yummy veggies and very filling!

Great service! Did a walk in takeout order and got it within 15 minutes. Was served tea while waiting and the woman working was very friendly.

I had wanted to go to Bobo’s for a while, and the opportunity came up to do so with my oldest son. The place was nice, my son got a full entree which was delicious, but I got a lunch special which was a little skimpy compared to other restaurants. The server was very nice, but looked like because it didn’t have a lot of customers, that she was doing a lot on her own. So in sum, I will definitely go there again, because it overall is good, but I can’t give it 5 stars because it just didn’t reach that level.

Always the best since 1999!!!

This is small town Auburn local food for 20 years. We all need to support the ones that have stayed around to allow you to experience authentic cuisine. This one happens to be Vietnamese. And it’s GOOD!

Today we stopped in for a to-go order of Shrimp Fresh rolls (#11) Vegan Fresh Rolls w/tofu (#90) and Spicy lemon grass tofu with rice noodles (#77). These were made fresh while I waited in only a few minutes.

Mai was there to greet me as she has been over the decades. Her sweet smile and kind personality is a breath of fresh air from so many chain type restaurants. This business is still family owned by the same original owners.

The food was wonderful. As I said, made fresh and tasted it. Quality and quantity was perfection!

Nice open dining room if you chose to eat in.

Try Bobo Cafe on Palm Ave. You will not be disappointed! I promise.

And tell Mai hello!

We are on a mission to try every restaurant in Auburn at least once. We shouldve skipped this one. Just go up the street- infinitely better.
The food here was sparse and flavorless. The fresh spring rolls were only rice noodles, romaine, Bean sprouts and a shrimp cut in half. No mint, no flavor. The entrees were also disappointing. #54 – Majority rice noodles, 2 ounces pork and 2 shrimp, 1 sprig of cilantro, a bit of lettuce. The egg roll was good. The Vietnamese crepe (specialty dish) was crispy but flavorless. How?!!
We were given some seasoned rice vinegar, hoisin with some peanuts on top and Sriracha/garlic chili as our options to try to flavor our food. I’m just shocked at what we were served. How is this Vietnamese food?
The server was nice, the restaurant itself is dated and just OK. We really wanted to like it, but we won’t be back.

The restaurant is old and dusty but the lady working was friendly enough. The problem is the food was beyond disgusting and likely a serious health hazard. The spring rolls reeked of rotting fish like maybe someone had been handling rotting fish and then made them without even washing their hands. Im not a picky eater and have eaten all kinds of weird things around the world but I couldn’t stomach eating any of it after smelling the spring roll and threw out the entire $100+ order

Eating at Bobo’s since the 90’s, so happy that the Auburn location survived the pandemic. Food is always good, fresh and fast. Hostess remembered that I like #51 and husband liked #73! I love to be treated like an old friend.

Meh… I mean I love Vietnamese anywhere, but this was unimpressive, especially when there’s another awesome one down the street! They should step up their game. Place is outdated and feels a little unclean an unattended. Food was good, but the allover feeling I got was “ Skimpy.” From the meat that they spread out on top to look like more, to the hesitation to bring out sauces.. to the watered down soap in the bathroom that just gave you a feeling you were asking for too much, but if they gave it to you to begin with you wouldn’t have to ask!! I’ll stick to my other place.
