My favorites are the cheesecake — I usually buy a whole cake because it’s perfect for gifts and get-togethers with friends. I also love the chocolate croissant and baguette — everything tastes amazing!

My favorite bakery around by a long shot. They have the classics and also get really creative with it. Like below is a miso-gruyere lattice style crossaint? Wow. The reason I go back is the orange and black sesame cookies. They are so good. Everything you get there will be good but I recommend getting at least a few of those cookies because you’ll want more.

The best Boulangerie in the nation! The croissants have millions of layers that are very crunchy. The plain croissant tells Michette has top notch croissant. Mushroom Gruyere croissant is a french cuisine in a croissant format. Thanks for amazing experience!

I ended up ordering delivery- cinnamon roll, oat cookie and banana bread. They arrived in perfect condition and all three are vegan! The cinnamon roll has an incredible chew on the bottom and a great cinnamon flavor. The oat cookie was sweet and had a great chewy texture but would have loved other flavors to come through stronger like the orange. I haven’t tried the banana bread yet but I’m sure it’s just as delicious. A great option especially if you are vegan!

Another 6 star business. I felt delighted they were just 2 minutes from my Airbnb . If you’re anywhere near Somerville, get over and visit them.
Authentic French baking , great friendly staff who listened attentively to my order; their coffee and baked goods are amazing .

My husband and I were blown away by Michette. The croissants are truly exceptional, easily the best we’ve had anywhere in the US. I loved the cardamom bun, which was beautifully aromatic and perfectly balanced. My husband tried a savory mushroom and Gruyère cheese braided puff pastry and it was unforgettable. Michette isn’t just a bakery, it feels like a full dining experience where every bite is crafted with care. We’re already dreaming about going back!

The smell of fresh bread in the air? Basically a daily attack on my willpower
And the flavors change all the time — like, you can never get the same pastry twice.
I just wanted a coffee today to clear my head, and somehow walked out with three different ones.
How am I supposed to lose weight like this?? I’m blaming the croissants
They’re perfectly flaky, the scones are soft and buttery, and every visit feels like opening a blind box.
The prices aren’t terrible either… which makes it even harder to behave
Little indie spots like this are my weakness.
I kinda wish you were here to try them with me — I feel like you’d appreciate the chaos.

Picked up some delicious pastries for breakfast. Small place with excellent pastry choices and quality. A line does form for their excellent offerings – so do come early!
There is no place inside to sit and savor the delectable offerings – best to pickup and enjoy at home. Very friendly staff.
We got our order fresh off the oven. A definite go-to bakery next time here. There is street parking up front.

I really enjoyed Michette!! The pan suisse was the best I’ve had in the area and it was still warm. Same goes for their chocolate and oat cookie, it’s the kind of cookie that reminds you that cookies are magical. Croissant was also lovely. The canelle and the Madeline were on the drier side, but the flavor was good. I enjoyed the matcha. It’s just a counter to order at, not really a place to go sit.
