Been there a few times now and it’s fun and all, but every time late into the night the upper floor is completely wet. Wet is an understatement, I’m talking huge puddles of liquid, like I could swim in it. Other then that the place is fun to go to for $20 a person.

These guys took my REAL id , and were so confident in it being fake. One of the worst experiences ever because they’re the rudest staff I’ve ever met. They don’t care about you at all, they all have crazy egos and it clearly shows. They suck, in fact I’ve never met people more ruder. Just go to a different bar and don’t even consider this place, frankly it’s for the better if they don’t exist.

Stopped at Joe while coming back from a Buiness trip . I order the pork sandwich no bread and it came out in a tasty bowl with all the dressing . The bartender was very chill and good as great! We will be back when in the area !

Honestly I’ve never had a worse bar experience. The music was so bad! They played nothing relevant or new and catered to a more basic audience. Genuinely maybe 2 good dance songs the whole night. I will never come back. If i could give zero stars i would.

Now, listen up, joes is the bar of Illinois. Kams shmams is just a bar, lion schmion is the most boring place ever. If you are a boring person who just makes small talk and gets a little buzz, go to any of the lesser bars in the area. But if you want to have a great time and perhaps indulge in a bit of consumption of spirits and liquor, BRING YO BOOTY TO JOES THURSDAYS NIGHTS.

For a college bar, this place has pretty spectacular food. This review is going to be based solely on their food. Their burgers are a lot better than most other places, and if you go when they have specials on burgers, they can be as low as $5. The fries here are amazing as they are twice fried for extra crispiness. Their fried pickles are amazing and this is one of the few places in town that serves them. Being a bar, it can be extremely crowded.

Only been here for half-priced burgers on Tuesday/Thursday, but it’s been great so far. I can’t say anything about other aspects of this place, though.
Buy a drink and one of the many tasty burgers and it comes to about $6.50. It’s also more than I can comfortably eat, so that’s nice. The fries are quite tasty, as well.

The only reason I ever eat here is the half-off burgers on Tuesday and Thursday. The burgers are over-priced otherwise. They are adequate burgers, but nothing special. The special burgers usually have a lot of toppings, which makes sense for a bar that caters to undergraduates. This is definitely an undergrad bar, so grad students may want to get burgers to go.

Great food, great music, great owner, great staff, great bartenders. I love this place and I had some of my best memories here. I think the owner is a very nice and smart guy and that’s one of the reasons why this place has it all. If you wanna party, they have a huge space in the back with big mirrors (if anyone claims to have a dance bar and they don’t have mirrors there, they don’t know the business at all) and great DJs and light and music. OMG I’ve been to some of the fanciest bars in California but none of them can beat my experience from Joe’s. Totally worth the time (to stay in the line) and money (cover fee and drinks).
