I placed a large lunch order at Kona bento this week. It was all packaged nicely with names and order written on each box. The food was hot and delicious with no burnt chicken The order was ready and delivered (DoorDash) so quickly! Definitely recommended to try Kona Bento and see how good it is for yourself. We will be back!

I had the beef bento, was extremely satisfied with it. The meat was tender, obviously a really good cut of beef. Rice was cooked perfectly, my only gripe would be the mac salad was a little heavy on the mayo but that’s a personal preference kinda thing.

I perfer the west main location since it’s close to all my grocery hub. The owner is so sweet and the food is fantastic. Sometimes the wait is long but the food is soooo fresh that it doesn’t matter to me.

Honestly was a bit disappointed coming here. Was on a road trip and wanted to stop in because it looked amazing with the reviews seen and read. It’s a cute drive up place so it was definitely a plus.
I ordered the spam musubi, chicken tacos, carnitas rice bento, and teriyaki beef bento
Chicken tacos was a definite 10/10
Carnitas bento box was a 8/10 for my husband
However the spam musubi tasted a bit burnt but not bad 6/10
Beef teriyaki bento box was a definite let down for me. Especially when I opened it to see just rice with beef. I was expecting vegetables like I’d seen in the photos. It was a bit overcooked too for what I expected to be a medium rare. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing I’m unsure.
Overall wouldn’t mind coming here to give it another try. Was really disappointed in our first time coming with some dishes.

Absolutely delicious Hawaiian food! Easy drive through ordering. We ordered the pork and chicken bento. Large portions! It’ll come with white or brown rice, mac salad, and teriyaki sauce on the side. I added grilled veggies and a side of the pineapple mango pico. It was heavnly! The fruit tart was very yummy as well.

Kona Bento is great and decently priced when you need to grab a quick meal. I’ve been going here for years since they are 3 minutes from my work. I would have to say that their Island Tacos with Pork are the best. You do have to wait a little for them, but it’s worth the wait! Also, Kona Bento just opened up a 2nd location close to where I live off Lozier Lane in Medford.

Chicken Bento – The chicken was great, rice was good, and the Mac Salad was okay too. The teriyaki sauce had good flavor but it should come with more, the little side of sriracha was just right though… Customer service was great, the girls were friendly and working hard!
