Dear Management, thank you for your prompt response. I do appreciate that. But, honestly, your explanation just makes the situation worse. So basically, I overpaid on the tacos and was not offered a refund nor a complimentary item to cover the remaining cost of the fish & chips (on top of having tipped your staff)? Please take that 6 dollars and give a complimentary item to another family. Hope they’ll have a much better experience than we did.

Deceiving from the outside, since it looks like one of those Hallmark locations decked out in Christmas decor. At first, we were really pleased with the place despite the menu being a bit pricey. It seemed to have a good vibe and the employee seemed quite attentive and knowledgeable. Hot drink was yummy. Child was intrigued by the tiny Christmas village.

Then the food came out.. I was shocked by what little you get for the price you pay. I mean if I have to pay 20 bucks for some tacos, they better be some good grubbin tacos and you better give me some extra tortillas on the side. Nope. Just one sheet of tortilla per taco, with the meat smothered in piles of shredded lettuce. Did I order a salad taco? I’m pretty sure it was fish. What I found under those beds of lettuce were thick pieces of sesame crusted medium cooked ahi. Ummm. No. They didn’t even TRY to fool me and at least make it pretty with thinner slices and a drizzle of sauce on top of each taco. ‍♀️

I should have been leery when they gave me a choice of either shrimp or ahi. I’ve never heard of crispy ahi tacos, and with good reason. I knew they were out of pollock but I thought they might get creative and batter fry the fish on hand (as stated in the menu listing of “crispy fish tacos”).

It wasn’t even my first choice, which was supposed to be the fish and chips that happened to be out of stock. But they didn’t let me know that until AFTER they charged me for it. So I was kind of scrambling to choose a substitute dish.

I should have asked more questions but we were super hangry from our road trip. Later, my relative said the restroom was gross (meaning not maintained properly). Others might have better luck here but we’re not getting fooled again!

Nice sandwich stop. Food was good and it wasn’t too crowded at lunch. Service was good and prices were reasonable. This is a place I will come back to.

On the way back from hiking trail that’s beside this place. We decided to get a breakfast. Our hotel has great croissants I was in a mood for some eggs and a proper breakfast. My wife had the yogurt with granola fruit and I had a three egg omelette. Both were amazing. Very pet friendly and excellent decor well worth the stop. The service and staff were fantastic as well.

My partner and I stopped here for brunch as we walked along the Bob Jones Trail. The food selection was better than expected, as they added more options to the breakfast menu, and there were several gluten-free choices. They are also well-stocked with local artisan food products/desserts. The staff is incredibly friendly, personable, and attentive. It’s a beautiful space as well with a nice, relaxed atmosphere. However, I had to lower my overall rating because the state of the women’s bathroom was just abysmal- it looked like it had been days since it was cleaned, and none of the stalls had toilet paper. To their credit, one of the staff quickly jumped in to restock after I asked. But still, I don’t think the restroom being that dirty is justified, considering the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy.

This is a nice neighborhood market that also serves food and coffee with a nice fireplace and seating area. We had Americanos from the coffee bar, and my wife had a gluten-free pizza and I had soup and a sandwich. Everything was very tasty. Nice little place to have a meal.

Great local spot. They recently reconfigured the inside, adding more seating and dining space. Great service and a happy atmosphere. We ordered a (custom made) sandwich and it was generous enough to split. If you don’t love mayo, you might ask for light/less. Everyone seemed happy with their food choices and most walked away with to-go boxes (good portions). We will be back to further explore the menu.

This is a hidden gem of a deli off the Bob Jones trail. Perfect for a pre or post bike meal. The food is simply terrific as is the specialty coffee. Sit on the woodsy patio and watch the world go by. It’s worth the trip.

Coffees were really really good. We had hot rose cardamom latte and a cappuccino. Both were very nicely made. Avacado toast and florentine scramble were also delicious.

We wanted to like it. The location is great! But the food just isn’t very good especially for the price and the restaurant seems dirty, especially the bathroom.

We were lucky enough to find this place while we were staying at the Cliffs Hotel 10 minutes down the road. From the service, to the quality, and the overall atmosphere of this gem of a Market/Restaurant we truly can’t be more impressed! We ended up coming 3 days in a row while visiting San Luis Obispo. I truly have not found one thing to complain about.
