We haven’t even been served our food yet and my wife and I are both in agreement that Hector is probably your best server. He’s been extremely friendly and courteous so far. Had us laughing from the moment we arrived. As soon as our host sat us down he was already taking our drink orders. Wonderful server. You should be proud to have such a wonderful young man working for you. The restaurant here is also beautiful and probably my favorite Manuel’s location. I’ve been coming to Manuel’s since I was a kid and the atmosphere in here is phenomenal. Everything is clean, there is great lighting for the space, there’s nice screens at the bar. Checked every box.

The restaurant has huge seating and a warm, inviting ambiance. Our order arrived on time, and the food was flavorful.
The only downside was that some dinner entrees didn’t come with beans and rice, and we were charged extra for those sides—which is usually standard at most places. Also, chicken in Fajita was not charred properly.
Still, a solid place for a nice meal!”

This was my second visit to this particular Manuel’s restaurant. Both visits included my mom, my wife, and myself.
We visited several months ago. It was later in the evening and we were looking for a place to eat and saw that Manuel’s looked open, so we went in only to find they were getting ready to close. Disappointed, we were about to leave, but the server asked us to wait. Checking with the kitchen, she came out and told us they would be happy to serve us. That alone impressed me, because I rarely see customer service to that extent these days.
We all had combination plates that were absolutely delicious!
Our server didn’t rush us, but made us feel very welcome.
I was so impressed that we decided to have my birthday dinner there this past Tuesday, jan.19th, and again, I was very pleased with the service, food, and atmosphere.
I had a green chili and sour cream enchilada that was mouth wateringly delicious, Spanish rice, and a taco that was so stuffed with shredded beef that the crispy taco shell was barely able to contain it all.
I highly recommend this Manuel’s located at 32nd st. & Shea. My mom and wife totally agree with my recommendation.

I had a wonderful birthday here. My kids brought me, for my 75 birthday. They had great entertainment. Don’t know his name. But a very good singer, and entertainer. Good voice and good personality. Would sing songs at requests. I had such an enjoyable evening. I would want to go back, again, soon! Food was delicious, great place to go, friendly waiters. We have a TT group. We try New Mexican restaurants every Tuesday. This week was Manuel’s on 32nd St and Shea. First time there.
Your initial question when you arrive is: outside of the sign, am I in the right place?
It’s a cool venue. High ceilings, big open doors and was clearly a microbrewery or sports bar before it became Manuel’s Mexican cantina.
But that adds to the ambiance. We really liked it
And the food and service were also very very good. We like to pickup the specials, happy hour favorites etc.
Good happy hour. Decent prices on food specials like the street tacos or taco/enchilada special. There is also an all day seniors menu which has very decently priced options from Chimi’s to tacos.
We all enjoyed Manuel’s and agreed it is a location we would go back to.

Great place to go, it’s a new updated location. Shea and 32 nd street. It’s very modern. Food was very good, service (Todd) was outstanding. Only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star is they charge 3.50 for soda water and 4.00 for beers.

John and his team- the top chef of 20 yrs catered my wedding rehearsal dinner “Taco ‘bout Love” everyone loved the beef and chicken taco bar with all the trimmings and dessert chimis! They came on time, set up in a jiffy and served the crowd of 100 so easily. John was my contact. He gave me a great quote- much cheaper than another restaurant that wanted to charge me an additional 1000. John and his team even walked around and picked up empty plates and bottles!!! Would HIGHLY recommend 100%.

Manuels on Shea has really missed the mark. Poor selection of tequilas , ambiance is off. No authentic feel. Food came out like warm. Fajita plate sizzlers for 30 seconds, meat was not even touching the skillet just sitting on a pile of veg that were barely hot.
