What a gem. I visited here for dinner with friends as we were traveling in from Kansas City. This a friendly mom-and-pop place with fantastic food. The atmosphere is a throwback to the 1960s and 70s. The menu includes Greek food and Greek versions of American dishes. My pork chop with special Greek seasoning was by far the best pork chop I’ve ever had, as was the baklava for dessert.
All for a very reasonable price.

We stopped in for lunch when we were in town and are so glad we did. The atmosphere is cozy and our server was lovely. We noticed that she knew most of her customers by name, which was pretty nice to see.
The menu has a great selection and the food was hot and great

A cozy local Greek restaurant with plenty of other choices on their menu. I had a Greek salad and their Shish-kabob- both of which were very good. My son enjoyed their whole catfish dinner and my sister liked their clam dinner. My niece had the chicken bites and we all enjoyed mozzarella sticks for an appetizer. Main Street in Boonville is very inviting. Would love to come back and stay at the Hotel Frederick.

Great food and fabulous service!! Our group of 5 were there for lunch, and several had the large Greek salad with grilled chicken. Yum!! One ordered the open faced roast beef, and she recommended it. Lovely people!

We had the wife of the owner wait on us. She was most in friendly. Short with us, like she really didn’t want to wait on us. Salad bar was minimal selections and was soaked in water. Livers had old grease smell. The chicken wrap tasted good but the chicken was dry and old. Would not recommend the extra miles. It took to get off I 70.

We were welcomed with a friendly greeting as soon as we arrived. The food was great. I had a fantastic pork steak and the macaroni salad on the salad bar was the best I’d ever had.

First, I don’t know what some of the other posters were expecting in speedy service. Our order was taken almost immediately. Had drinks within 5 minutes, salads at 9 and appetizers at 12 minutes. Since negative reviews centered on slow service I made a point to watch the time. After observing both speed and friendly service I stopped checking the time.
I ordered the Greek fries appetizer, the surf and turf with baked potato and greek salad. My wife the chicken liver platter with baked and Greek salad. All of which were tasty and so much we both had to take half home. Special note: livers are hard to make correctly. My wife is hard to impress, but said her meal was made perfectly.
We were just passing through the state, but very happy we stopped in to eat at this restaurant. If we find ourselves back in the area, we know where we are stopping to eat.

husband had the lasagne. He said it was good. He got the salad bar with it. All good. I got the gyro plate. It was wonderful. Have tried 3 other places in mid-Missouri and think this is the best gryo out there. Meat & sauce were well seasoned & cooked just right. good fresh pita. However was surprised it only came with 1 pita bread. Was disappointed no grape leaves appeared on the menu. I chose the Greek salad for a side. It was very good. Place really is not handicap accessible. Sign on door offers portable ramp if requested, but the bathrooms are not really accessible and do not have any grab bars.
