This is exactly what I wanted this city to have! As of August 12, 2018, they are officially open! A wonderful family run restaurant with a great location. They have a great menu and the food is flavourful. You can ask for varying levels of spiciness to make sure it suits your tastes. A place with a lot of potential and it’s off to a great start. Amazing proportions and really tasty on the palette. I urge you to try to restaurant if you’re craving Indian food.

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent order. The fish pakora was almost all besan with barely any fish inside, and to make it worse, no sauce was provided. I also ordered veg biryani, and even the basic raita was missing. The taste of both items was honestly awful and nowhere near worth the money.
Please improve the quality and make sure customers actually get what they’re paying for. This was a complete waste of my hard-earned money.

We were visiting Collingwood while we decided to have our rather late lunch at this restaurant. At that time it was sparsely populated. So no waiting for us. Service was reasonably fast and portions were generous. In fact, we sort of over-ordered. Their Naan size is quite large. They serve main course dishes along with a serving of rice. Overall good experience.

Nice place with friendly staff and good ambience. I ordered chicken biryani and it was delicious. Their raitha that comes with the biryani is better than any place I’ve tried. I loved that both the biryani and the raitha had lots of vegetables, most places will just make biryani with rice, chicken and onion and whip up some yogurt and call it raitha. The chicken was very tender, cooked perfectly. Definitely one of the best places I’ve had biryani at.

Service was a little bit slow. Drinks took a lengthy amount of time. Got appetizers when we got our drinks. Dinner was delicious man. Brad is very good. We had several appetizers. One was cheese and one was vegetables with a mint and we also had a sweet sauce that was also delicious. Wish they had had salads in there menu when we talk to the staff afterwards. They did offer salads but didn’t realize it wasn’t in the menu. Hopefully next time we get to try their salads. Looking forward to going back again

We were driving through Angus and wanted to support a local restaurant as we were very hungry. We looked up restaurants on google and came across Taj Grace of India. My husband and I both ordered the Butter Chicken wrap. It was absolutely delicious! Fresh, super tasty, and home cooked. I will definitely crave this again! The wrap was very filling, and came with two pieces. Picture not great, but you get the idea.
Will be back. Highly recommend. 🙂

Bought some pekora here and sorry to say not the best. I actually asked if it comes with sauce he said yes… once it was ready I asked again and found ketchup. I was not impressed at all.

This restaurant is just starting out, so some things were a little off, but I attribute that to a steep learning curve. The food was good, but was very mild. They had hot sauce, but it would be better to just ask people how spicy they want things cooked. The owner is very gracious and came out a couple times to check on us.
I think we should come back in a couple months, next time we’re in town.
We ordered:
Veggie samosa – excellent, large and spicy. The condiments were a bit unusual to us.
Chicken tikka masala – very tender chicken breast, and the sauce was creamy
Palak paneer – pretty good, but I was expecting way more heat and spice
Palao rice – pretty good
Garlic naan – thin but very good with lots of garlic
Things that were weird:
-Cold dining room (end of December, so maybe that’s it)
-Bottled water at the table: it might save dishes, but takes away from the ambience
-Server didn’t give us much time to look at menu
-Had to take place settings from the next table, because the one we sat at didn’t have any on it
-No condiments on the table other than salt and pepper

Excellent customer service and fantastic food. I went in for the first time, and while I waited for my food to be made, the owners talked to me and were so kind and welcoming . I went in for the butter chicken. Most creamy butter chicken I’ve had. Everything was delicious and amazing. I definitely recommend this restaurant to any one who loves homemade food.

Taj was an amazing experience. Took my kids 7 and 5, and the food was excellent and mild enough to not throw off my boys. Service was fantastic. We will definitely return. I’m excited to try the lunch buffet!!!
