My only complaint is they don’t serve Lengua tacos. Otherwise the food was good. I had 3 berria tacos with beans and rice. And some fiery hot sauce!
Quite good.

Have always loved El Taco and since we moved from wyndtree we havent had it as often.
Today my daughter ordered the birria pizza and oh my stars it was so delicious. We each had a piece and it filled us up just on the one!
Will be making this a weekly order from now on.
Thanks for such amazing food

I really wish I could give this 5 stars for atmosphere because the food is PERFECT! I think it’s unfair to get knocked down because of it. I got the 3 taco Asada flour meal. Came with rice, beans, lime, hot sauce. Let me tell you this place blows 99% of restaurants out of the water. The food is amazing! Prices are not bad either. I hope the owner one day is able to expand into a nice building. It deserves it!

Taco is good and pretty quick. The place is in the back of a old musty gas station. Locals like their food. They always ran out of tamales unfortunately. There is always a line during lunch. I wouldn’t say they are the best like some people claim but you can’t really mess up taco or quesadilla.
They have birria taco and they use birria juices on other items too so if you want a light lunch watch out.

I found this place on google and before trying it out, I read the reviews. Unfortunately this place is not made out to be what other reviews have said it to be. When I walked in, the cooks were eating for food and using their phones with gloves on. I placed my order and then watched the same cooks attempt to cook my food without changing gloves or even washing their hands. When I asked the boy who took my order to have the cooks wash their hands and exchange gloves while prepping my food, he responded, “No, you tell them, they’re the owners, it’s just food”. He continued to give me attitude as I tried to educate him on food safety and handling guidelines. I do not recommend this place.

Use to rave about this place, it had been a few years since my last visit, and the tacos are now more like Tex Mex than Mexican street tacos i remember. Was asked right away if I wanted supreme, declined and said no cheese, I wanted authentic street tacos with onion and cilantro. The steak looked more like ground beef and they put lettuce on them.
Maybe there has been a change in ownership or something, but I don’t think I’ll be back.

The food was very good, a little overpriced in my opinion, but I’m glad its available. I would go back.

Great food. I’ve lived many years in Texas and Phoenix and this food is very good.
This is souly a take out. It is inside a marathon gas station.

A couple tamales for lunch, and that hit the spot. They don’t have 99¢ Wednesdays anymore but still worth the price. Can’t wait to try a burrito . I recommend giving them a try.
