Suehiro’s always takes amazing care of us! We find it hard to eat anywhere else because the food it THAT good, little on the pricey end, but worth every penny and more. We usually get Justin, but we landed Garett this time and both of them are so awesome and hilarious!

By far a delicious place to eat! Fun dinning experience too! A must try if you’re in Pueblo. I had the teriyaki chicken yakisoba, and other is the steak and shrimp.

Amazing experience!! The food was outstanding and super fresh, miso and a salad were brought out to us while we looked over the menu. The service was immediate, it felt like we were almost constantly in conversation, which pieced this type of atmosphere together perfectly. Dylan is phenomenal, and made the entire night that much more magical, so full of energy and life. Overall, the best experience my family and I have had in quite some time. We will be returning very soon!!

Heard this was 5 stars but when we tried it I’d give it 1 star. Mainly because they were short staffed. With reservations, took us over half hour to get seated. Then took over an hour more just to get a beer, after asking our server and the owner 4 times. . When our chef Justin came out he was great and made it so much fun, My wife never got her shrimp, a friend never got her sushi, and they tried to finally give us our appetizer after we were finished with our meals.justin rocked and made it great, but we’ll wait a long time bfore going back.

I went here for my first time today for my birthday for the Teppanyaki service and some sushi. I expected just a normal sit experience. However it was beyond that. The atmosphere was wonderful. The workers loved their jobs and it showed. Outstanding service from the second we walked in until we stepped out. The manager was friendly and tentative. We had the pleasure of having Dylan prepare our Teppanyaki and he did absolutely amazing. Great skills good conversation and great mixed in humor. When I was able to try the food it was beyond what I expected. This has become my new favorite restaurant. Good job to everyone there tonight.

First time there and was excited to try. Unfortunately my expectations were let down. It wasn’t busy only four people in there including me and my guest. Ordered drinks and food right away when we got there.took 15 plus minutes to bring my one drink. Didn’t start the hibachi for our food for about 35 mins after we ordered and waited another 35 minutes for it to be cooked. Didn’t bring the sauces for dish til everyone was already halfway through eating. Never got checked on or a refill.server never checked in on us not once. I will definitely not be back. Spent 100$ and the food was average. Cook was nice and all but no tricks or anything that most hibachi chefs do. He was polite but just not worth the prices for such little experience and for very slow service. They really need to talk to their staff about providing better service when their prices are high. Simple checking in. Refills. , prompt service. I’d understand if it was busy but it was dead :/. Very disappointed. Expected a lot more.

This is the go-to spot for date nights and any other special occasion. The sushi is so delicious (try the Pueblo roll for a kick!) and the owner is a lovely human (and a spectacular chef) and we’re always treated like family when we come in. 10/10 – this is the only sushi place I go in town.

I had a takeout order and they gave me a salad and miso soup while I was waiting. All people were very kind.

Unfortunately, if I could give the food less than 1 star, I would.
I have been looking for somewhere to get a chirashi don, and found this restaurant on yelp. The pictures of the menu were something like 11 years old, and their website is no longer up, so I decided to stop in and see the menu for myself. There was 1 other set of diners there at the time, who ended up leaving before they ordered (i’m assuming their kid didn’t see anything he liked on the menu).
I ordered the chirashi don, seaweed salad, and a salmon roll for 49$ total.
I sat and waited 40 minutes for my food, which was all cold items, in an empty restaurant. I was cool with it, because sushi is my favorite food, so i’m willing to wait.
Once I paid, i had a 20 minute drive back to my house. 3 boxes: chirashi, salmon roll, and seaweed salad. I couldn’t eat the seaweed salad. It is usually bright and salty, and this tasted fermented, old, and maybe kept at the wrong temperature (it literally reminded me of beer).
The salmon roll had 5 pieces for 9$, and tasted like the fish had been kept in a container with other foods. I didn’t taste salmon… I tasted lemon I think? Same for the chirashi, every fish was cut in an obscured way, and tasted downright expired (I did not finish it for fear of foodborne illness). This is coming from someone who is more than content to eat sushi at a mediocre buffet as well as places like Itos in florence and sushi sasa in denver. Based on other reviews, i expected fresh fish with clean flavors but this was something else entirely. It was the worst sushi I’ve ever had, and it made me wish I would have gone to sams club for sushi instead. I’ll include a picture of one of the cuts of tuna that looks like it began to cook somehow (the rice was kept cold, so there was absolutely no hot food in my order). It is brown on one side. And a picture of what might be hamachi that has dried edges, like it had been sitting out for far too long. Overall very disappointing. I will say, the waiter and sushi chef were very, very nice and welcoming.
