Okay. First off this is the first time I have ever been treated this way! Normally it is really great service with the ladies and Todd! MISS YOU TODD! I get it we sat in the booth area. Waiter came over raising his voice (maybe he’s deaf) saying that the area is closed. Totally respect that. But they didn’t have the closed area sign up until 3 mins after he told us. He took our drink order. I asked for a simple no ice. He gave me a lot of ice. My husband asked him nicely that we asked for no ice. He scuffed and said okay. Took my drink to the back to dump it out I guess… I heard him complaining about our simple request. He came out with the same cup refilled it. I’m sorry but I’m at a table where I can see where the fountain drinks are refilled. He is touching his hair and itching his nose while STILL touch my cup!! Let’s just say it sat on the end of my table the whole time without him asking if everything was okay. Nope nothing! My husband then asked hey we want our appetizer before we get our main meals. He raised his voice starting there are other orders. We just said okay no biggie just normally we get them at the same time and wanted to make sure we got them before. Thank god I have dogs they will love this food.

Family friendly in front. Full bar with pool table in back. On the small quaint size. But then it is a small town. Nice menu choices. Decent prices. Can order your own size burger! Friendly, prompt staff.

Friendly staff. Delicious food. Right on the main road so it’s easy to find. The menu had a lot of good options to try. My sandwich was very filling and had a good amount of bacon on it. My husband’s chicken fried steak was huge and really tasty. I got a coffee mug for home because I loved the larger size they use. Not something everyone will enjoy, but I also liked watching the birds that were nested near the rafters.

Great food and a welcoming atmosphere. Service was excellent and very quick. Highly recommend this restaurant if you find yourself in Republic! Breakfast, lunch or dinner!

The food was awesome and presented wonderfully. The waitresses were very busy, apologetic, and professional. Pricing was more than reasonable. And the portions were large. We love eating here everytime we come here. And will continue to come here. I recommend this place to anyone.

Not too bad. Taste can improve but for sure it has something going for it. A great family spot to eat and have drinks with friends on the bar. I had the Knotty pine hamburger (picture attached) and wow what a burger

Truly old fashioned love at this restaurant. Food is standard but the service is above average making it an easy 5 stars.. Will definitely come back.

We stayed in Republic, WA overnight. Well, there are not that much options for dinner in this charming little town. We chose the Knotty Pine Restaurant without too much expectations, even it does not really look inviting from both, outside and inside. However, we were finally delighted with this restaurant. Real good food, attentive and friendly service. Highly recommended.

Just a recommendation for the garlic cheese curds: if y’all served them with a side of local honey and some kinda hot pepper jelly they would be an unstoppable hit. The only thing missing was a good intentional dipping sauce. I brought them back to camp with me and all i could think of was busting out the Methow honey and local peach habanero jelly I brought along. Can confirm: fabulous pairing. Don’t let your fantastic curds lose their luster via ranch/ketchup! Give them the proper framing they deserve
Anyway, good service. Tasty chowder.
