Missed opportunity for a great coffee place. Sorry not sorry for the rant but it just amazes me these days that places charge what they do and give no thought to presentation and atmosphere. And this is apparently a top tourist place. Think of the opportunity for excellence! Don’t be afraid to raise the bar, it doesn’t have to cost a lot. Coffee was good, pastries average served on paper plates reminiscent of a backyard bbq, service mostly friendly, but messy and unappetizing food offerings (even though they may be tasty)behind an untidy counter. No food/pastry prices displayed. Outdoor terrace seating a great idea and if you can look past the power lines and discarded vapes on the rooftop next door, the views are nice. But…I know you had lots of snow TWO weeks ago but if you’re opening the terrace, how hard is it to clear the snow to the sides to sit without risking injury or even being able to open the door? We had a good laugh as I opened the door & it unexpectedly stuck, sending my sausage roll flying into a snow bank in fact we are still laughing. Funny, but unacceptable really. Mr. /Ms. Manager/Owner where are you? Your place needs attention…then we’ll be back. Thank you.

Smaller coffee shop with limited seating and space inside when busy. Visited on a busy morning but staff was efficient, pleasant, and detailed. All of the food looked amazing and fresh. The coffee was OFC made to order and was reasonably priced. The sticky buns in the other hand were the best I HAVE EVER HAD….GET ONE!!!! A must visit if only for the sticky buns.

Two Coffee’s and two bagels $17
This may sound like a rant, but I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one who feels this way about this coffee shop — or about how coffee shops operate these days. And I refuse to just shrug and accept that “this is how it is now.”
In my mind, when I buy a cup of coffee and something to eat — and a tip is expected — then I should receive service. Real service. Honestly, even if the service is terrible, I’m still likely to leave something. But there has to be service.
Now the trendy approach seems to be that you pick up your coffee and then walk it over to another counter to add your own cream. That alone makes the tip questionable.
At this particular place, I ordered two bagels — one with butter and one with cream cheese. The girl behind the counter asked if I wanted them sliced. I said yes. Then I watched her put two sliced bagels into a bag along with packets of butter and cream cheese — no spreading, no knife, no napkins. I wasn’t told where to find a knife or napkins. I just assumed they might be somewhere near the cream station. No guidance. No assistance. Zero help.
When I went to pay, the total appeared on a tablet screen with a list of suggested tip amounts. That’s where I draw the line. I refuse to tip someone who doesn’t offer help or provide actual service. Those tip screens feel less like appreciation and more like pressure.
Tips should be earned — not automatically expected. Both coffee and bagels were decent. The total cost was not the issue.

Great location by the waterfront. The pastries are fresh. I tried their apply fritter which was very sweet but the bread was like a chewy doughnut which was very good. The scone was mediocre – very crumbly.

I ordered an Americano and the taste was disappointing. The espresso was flowing so fast. Apparently the barista didn’t dial it in and didn’t care at all. The patio upstairs is nice though

Mishas is a clean café with a very friendly staff, which I appreciate. However, my chai was extremely bland — even after getting it remade, it still tasted like water. I didnt finish it and i LOVE coffee & tea. It hurt my heart to throw it away lol. Also, I work from coffee shops a lot and also wish there were more outlets; there are only one or two in the entire café so be aware!
Super nice people there, but unfortunately I won’t be back.

It’s always a bumber when coffee shops don’t have mugs and unfortunately the coffee itself was just okay. I don’t know if it’s just in my mind but I think the plastic doesn’t help the taste either. That being said, there is some great patio seating on the second floor and the staff seems pretty friendly. The wood design with big windows makes it feel warm and cozy as well.

Great coffee, good and comfy space to enjoy coffee. Its cold brew is a bit bitten though.

I stopped by the King Street location as it was highly recommended by my dental hygienist. I tried their iced matcha with oat milk and it did not disappoint. The drink was sprinkled with iced and not overwhelmed with ice. There was a perfect amount of matcha and splash of sweetness.
The interior offered a peaceful and moody vibe that’s perfect for a quick chat, teleworking or a time for a solo sip. Outdoor seating along the sidewalk is a great spot to enjoy the weather and people watch.
I will definitely be back again.
