What I found weird was that I was told to find my seat first rather than outright order at the bar. Unlucky for me, the waitress has already gone on break, but another staff member remembered me. I would have been waiting up there unnoticed! It’s great that she came when she did because I was about to leave.
The drink was the saving grace. It was an old fashioned for $13, served in a lame plastic “glass”. It was annoying that I wasn’t given a napkin with it. How strange!
The Pro: it tasted like a strong amount of bourbon-awesome for those of us that like it that way.
The music is a little loud, so like any bar expect to lose your voice or do very little listening. Seating was fine on a Saturday 9pm. The drink came out promptly.
Hard to imagine a worse burger. Imagine smushing the black crusty bits of hamburger left in a frying pan after making a REAL burger – somehow mushing this together, putting it on a bun and handing it to someone with a straight face? I can’t imagine this either but this is what masquerades as a “burger” here. Kid you not. It was inedible. When did crusty bits of grease become a burger? I hope their drinks are good.
Oh ordered fries and onion rings too. Stringy “plain” fries were dusted with red cajun powder, yet had zero taste. Onion rings – zero taste.
Food:
Their main dishes include variations of breakfast sandwiches which include, meat eggs and cheese in a variety of combinations, but they also serve other types of American sandwiches and have avocado toast on their menu as well. The bar is a full bar serving all the traditional cocktails, local beers and wines, but they also have several of their own cocktails as well.
*Side Note
Most of their traditional breakfast sandwiches are greasy and tend to soak through the box, bag and napkin.
Staff:
We “accidentally” walked past the hostess and headed straight to the counter so I did not get to experience the initial greeting, but once we ordered and sat down she came over to make sure we were taking care of. The cashier was friendly and definitely helped us with our first time navigating the menu to find what would be the best dish. Even when they ran out of ingredients for my coffee order, she tried as best as she could to make it up to me. The bartender was friendly in a similar fashion and was able to get most people’s drink orders out relatively quickly.

Environment:
The restaurant was very modern and chic it have a main dining area that was off to the side and the wall was lined with two person seating bar tables. On the other side were picnic bench style seating that could fit a family of six. Then you had the bar with wrap around seating that could fit about 30 people and the upstairs dining area as well which provided more four person seating tables that could be combined.
Overall:
This is a great breakfast spot to grab a quick bite at before walking down to the beach or a great place to grab drinks at after a day in the sand.
