Limited menu. They did offer a special for FLW’s birthday. They were willing to make some food substitutions on some of their dishes.
The server who took our order- it was her first day of work. She was professional and friendly.
Food came out in a timely manner. The sandwiches and soup were delicious. The mashed potatoes were very tasty. The cupcake was dry, but the amazing frosting made up for it. The Nutella puff pastry sounds more delicious than it was. It was just ok. The caprese sandwich was very messy since it sat in a balsamic glaze. There was no neat way to eat it. There are cookies on the menu but they must have been out of them on this day.

I really enjoyed dining at this very unique, one of a kind FLW designed restaurant. After a long Taliesin walking tour, I had lunch at Riverview Terrace Cafe. It was raining and the view of the river was relaxing (here in early June). I had an excellent burger and salad. The servers were friendly and attentive. Just looking around at the Wright designed restaurant while eating was so cool!

Refreshing and worthy of a visit in its own right as a Frank Lloyd Wright design. The food is a step up from standard and certainly a cut above in quality for the area, standard dishes like a house salad and grilled cheese are made to order.

I recently visited Taliesin at 5607 County Rd C, in Spring Green, WI and had lunch at the Riverview Terrace Cafe. It was the perfect place to eat after taking a tour of Taliesin. The menu is kept small for various reasons but the selection was enough to find something you will like. I chose the turkey club. It was more than enough for a meal and it was delicious. It came with kettle chips and I got a bottled ice tea. Service was great.

Delicious salad, generous portion size, very reasonable prices. The river view is fantastic! You order at the counter, and they bring your food to your table. Lots of seating, attentive and friendly server. This was the perfect lunch after my tour of Taliesin.

No longer a restaurant. Now it is the visitor’s center for Taliesin, Frank Lloyd Wright’s estate in the driftless region of southern Wisconsin. The building still retains the incredible atmosphere of Wright’s design, now functioning well as a gift shop and gathering place for visitors to Taliesin. The view overlooking the Wisconsin River is amazing.

The sandwich and salad was a good lunch right before going on a tour at Taliesin. The chips were a fun little surprise: a light dusting of curry.
But – oh man – those chairs are weird to sit in.
Claim a window seat if you can.

Food was good and service was prompt and friendly. Menu was very small. Dessert options were somewhat obscure. View was beautiful.
Note: unless you are going on a formal tour, there is very little to see and do here. Make sure to book your tour in advance to e sure you get a spot.

Wished the menu had stated the turkey was smoked, not to my liking. Had tomato basil soup, it was good but was barely warm. Not sure I would visit again. Not very clear directions to the cafe, had to ask a man in the parking lot. It just said where to go for tours. Nice view of the river, clean and staff was pleasant.

We were on an end of summer road cruise and picked this restaurant at random. We were looking for a place on the waterfront and were surprised it was connected to a campground, but the food and service were great; we sat outside and the view was pretty.
