Good sandwiches, but the portions are small for the price. The service is slow, and the trash cans are always full. They should clean trash cans more frequently.

Opinion Worth a Thought
First time customer, and I’m happy with my experience there. The staff is friendly and efficient. Menu is easy to follow and is not overwhelmingly complicated. Food comes in generous portion and tastes fresh

I like the fact they’ll either toss the salad with the dressing for you or have the dressing on the side

The only downside is they use disposable paper/plastic cups and straws for drinks even for dine-in customers, and plastic containers for take-out orders. I hope they’ll consider switching to more eco-friendly options

What a lovely dine-in experience! This place reflects a slightly modern atmosphere. We ate here during lunchtime and there were many people here. Probably most of them are Intel workers who happen to have lunch at that time and the place is so crowded. It looks really nice when I walked in. Even the outdoors!

The food here is delicious too! I have never taste sandwiches like this in my life. Or maybe I haven’t had sandwiches this good for a while? The only minor issue is that they forgot the Farm Club but the staff are able to resolve that.

Definitely coming back here!

Food: Their food never fails us! I’ve been here 3 times and every dish simply amazes me with nice flavors and balanced textures of crispness and tenderness that intrigues my palate! This time we ordered the seasonal Chicken Hummus Crisp Wrap and the always-on menu Peruvian Steak. The former is crispy and refreshing while the latter is creamy and juicy!
My all-time favorite is still the Thai Mango Salad!

Service: nothing too special as most of the time you’re helping yourself.

Ambiance: Clean and simple. They have patio seats that’s nice on a sunny day!

A casual place that serves great sandwiches and salads, albeit a little on the pricey side. We tried the “Not So Fried” chicken sandwich and the Peruvian sandwich. Personally I prefer the Peruvian sandwich, which had a nice balance of salty, spiciness (mild), and tartness. The chicken sandwich was good, too. Their salads looked very enticing as well. They had a lot of takeout orders.

Mendocino farms is my go to vegetarian / plant based lunch spot. I typically get the Baja Green Goddess salad with Impossible Chorizo or the Happy Hippie sandwich.

The Baja Green Goddess salad consists of Impossible chorizo, roasted corn, black beans, jicama, avocado, grape tomatoes, red onions, Monterey jack, taco crunch, romaine, arugula, cabbage, cilantro, Baja goddess dressing. This is the perfect plant based southwest salad. The portion is large and the ingredients really go well together. I highly recommend this salad.

The Happy Hippie sandwich consists of avocado, cucumber, carrots, Kumato tomatoes, beet caviar, hummus, white cheddar, sprouts, cucumber dill ranch, vegan mayo, on toasted honey whole wheat. I really like the sweetness of the beets in the sandwich. There are enough other flavors that cover the earthiness of the beets, which I don’t mind, but I know people that do.

I have also heard really good things about the vegan bahn mi sandwich but I have not yet tried it.

All in all a lot of good healthy options at a fair price.

This review is specifically for the restaurant manager and the Asian lady at the register in the evening shift at this outlet – they always have a very unpleasant/rude demeanour and refuse to accept takeout orders even well before closing time! The food is great though and I’m a regular of Mendocino Farms!
