Reviews
I didn’t rate the food because my husband hasn’t ate it yet. However, if the food taste ANYTHING like the service I received then it’s probably terrible. I’m so irritated that I’m sitting in front of your business completing this review.
The lady, came out with my food. I politely said ” I would like to add a polish boy”. She sighed and rolled her eyes. So I said “never mind, how much do I owe for the dinner”. She was mumbling the total but I couldn’t hear her. I said, how much she gave me the total. I paid with my credit card. Transaction is complete, she turns, walk to her back counter and picks up the hot sauce container and walk to the back. Mind you, my food is by her register, and I’m standing waiting on my food. I wasn’t sure if she needed to get something else for my order. Due to her being in the back, I spoke loudly and asked ” Am I still waiting on anything?”. She came out and said, “no, your food is right there”. She picked it up and handed it to me. I told her, next time hand the customer their food, say thank you and that her customer service is terrible. Instead of acknowledging, she walked back into the kitchen.
I’m a business owner as well. I SERVE customer’s all day everyday. Not one time would I EVER treat my customer’s as if they are doing me a favor by patronizing my establishments or make them feel as if they are bothering me. Very disappointed with that interaction. She needs to attend A Structured Customer Service Training Program!
Pros:
* Freshly cooked chicken prepared to meet my expectations.
* Spacious lobby area with seating area for the patrons–only takeout during this time.
* Customers were respecting the mask mandate and the 6 foot social distancing criteria. No arguments inside and no beggars outside.
* They accept cash and credit cards.
* Good soul food that was seasoned well
Cons:
* The prices have risen due to the pandemic. Almost $2.35 per whole chicken wing is a bit steep. My understanding is that all restaurants have increased their prices and/or scaled back portions. No biggie…they have to stay competitive. The 5 wings (no sauce) and fries deal cost almost $10.
* It was really busy in there. I don’t know if they allow call-ins for ordering. I prefer to do online, electronic ordering when the restaurant is proven to be good.
