Spike’s Pub and Grub’s Belleville location has been a Tavern since 1910. In 2014 Dan and Rachel Speichinger bought what was then called the Antique House and breathed new life into the well known spot. With home cooked elevated bar food and a welcoming vibe it’s become a hub for a good time and good friends.

We loved our unexpected lunch at Spike’s. We took the scenic route from Scott AFB to Saint Louis and came across Spike’s. A gem!
The bartender was our server and she was attentive. When we arrived, local First Responders were enjoying their lunch…always a good sign of a great place. Place stayed busy during our leisurely lunch…another good sign.

Went here for a few cocktails after a friend’s bday party, and the staff, excluding the bartender, gave us a vibe as if they didn’t want us there. This was my first time here. They refused to play our songs on the jukebox even though money was put in the jukebox. I always passed this place and it’s always seemed like a cool bar. We are new to the neighborhood and stopped in to checkout the place… Nice smaller neighborhood bar. Great deck for sitting outside… Service was great. I tried the special fish bites.. Very good, they make their own dipping sauce which was also really good. I’m a tarter sauce guy so she made me up done fresh tarter sauce also… My bride had a mushroom Swiss burger. The burger was bland itself but the rest of it was fresh n tasty. We WILL be back !!
