I had short ribs and they were amazing. Delicious mashed potatoes and carrots. I would definitely come back for the food. The service was good, but waitress kept forgetting the order and came back couple times to ask. It would help to write down orders . Good atmosphere in general

We came in for a late lunch/early dinner. We were not rushed, which was appreciated as this was a long overdue hangout with family. We had tuna tar tar, brea with honey, short rib, steak, and salmon. This was our fourth time dining at Six and Sky. The atmosphere is always fantastic, and the food has consistently been decent — never quite amazing, but generally good. We went tonight to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and from the start, it was clear our waitress was having a rough day. She remained polite and professional, but her heart just wasn’t in it.
When our entrees arrived, two of the sides were completely wrong. The kitchen sent out a massive clump of mashed potatoes and an equally large clump of grits. The potatoes were cold, and the grits were so bland they could’ve doubled as wallpaper paste. My daughter’s risotto wasn’t even close to done — not “al dente,” but downright crunchy. My fish was so dry that after three bites, I had to give up.
To their credit, our waitress did ask how everything was, and when I explained our concerns, the restaurant took two entrees off the bill. That gesture was impressive and much appreciated.
We’ll likely give Six and Sky another try, but next time, with slightly lower expectations.

An upscale restaurant that gives you an amazing view of Roanoke. Food was great, well seasoned, perfectly cooked. We had the bread service (ask for extra butter), baked brie (the fig compote yum!), filet and then short ribs.
Would love to highlight the service from Ian. Great young local lad that was funny and personable, and held a great conversation. Host for the night was a rockstar too! Sad I didn’t get his name to recognize him. Bartenders were friendly despite being slammed!
The views are incredible and they’ve done a great job of creating places to take photos for special memories.

My boyfriend took me here for my 41th birthday! What a beautiful and wonderful experience! Everything was top tier! The place is absolutely stunning, our waiter although I forgot his name was the best I have encountered. Very warm and friendly and did his job well! The drinks fantastic. Now let’s get into the food! I mean the crab dip and Caprese was out of this world good! The crab cakes entree was so good! My boyfriend also loved his rooftop burger it looked amazing! Mash potatoes mouth watering and I tried a few fries, they also treated me to free dessert for my birthday! Probably one of the best birthdays I had in a very long time. Some ladies sang me happy birthday on their way out! It was truly phenomenal and I am very thankful for the experience! If you haven’t booked a reservation do it now you won’t be disappointed! Kisses to the chef and bartender and my special waiter. I love you all for making my night 1 to remember! I pray nothing but longevity and prosperity to this business! You got something special

Great tasting and filling food in a place with amazing views. Service was a little slow but that’s ok as you can look out on the mountains. Had the Chilean sea bass with fingerlings and asparagus. and it was really good. My friends had the scallops abs loved it. Will return if I am ever back
