Its always a good sign when there is a line of locals at the door waiting for a restaurant to open. That’s exactly what I found as I rolled up. Absolutely perfect small town restaurant. Everything you need, nothing you don’t. Clean, correct decor, cash only. Parking lot was nearly filled by the time I left breakfast. Clearly this place is doing something right. Just over $10 for a three-egg ham and cheese omelette with bacon, toast and coffee. Can’t beat it!

This place is such a gem. Like stepping back in time. Everyone was friendly and the food was affordable and delicious (the best combination)!
A great stop for breakfast if you’re traveling through. We had the French toast and gravy biscuits. Gravy was delicious and made with real sausage. Loved the special touches like creamer in a little pitcher and the Christmas decorations.
Everything was very clean and the waitresses were friendly. Recommended.

Food is great and prices are reasonable. I guess every business has suffered the pandemic effects . They have been short of help . Place is clean as well as rest rooms. I’d eat there again and recommend this place to anyone looking for good food. The best bacon and French toast. And yes they serve real eggs ! Great pancakes and sausage.

Stopped for breakfast while on vacation. Had already read the reviews and knew to have cash. The staff is only friendly to the regulars, we watched people coming in after us get their food before us. It took forever (at least 30 minutes) to get our breakfast. The biscuits tasted and felt like they were a couple of days old. The sausage gravy was pretty good on its own. The waitresses and cooks who actually had masks were wearing them as chin straps. I absolutely love little diners, was looking forward to eating here, but this was not a good experience. If you are travelling, leave this place for the locals, it is not worth the time or money.

We were really looking to stay away from the fast food circuit as we were coming through. We arrived at 11:30am, likely after the morning rush had left & we were happy to find it wasn’t packed.
I read the reviews before we came and hoped that we wouldn’t have the same experience as Carol (a previous reviewer here). No suck luck. We must have had the same waitress because no matter how friendly I was, the only returned friendliness from her came when she handed us the check. We noticed that the younger waitresses were friendly and warm to their patrons.
The food: again, had hoped for better but was disappointed. The omelet and fried eggs were both greasy. The chipped beef gravy was very salty and not very flavorful.
On the plus side, it is a very quaint old school style diner.
All in all, giving this place a 3 star is being generous.

The service was very good and friendly. We had burgers and fries that were delicious and the bill with drinks was $12.44! You can’t beat that. The clientell was very, very old but who cares? They all knew each other and it was fun to watch. The decor was old too but clean. I would definitely go again if in the area.

The biscuit & gravy was disgusting! The bread was like a rock! The waitresses are normally really nice but there is one is always as rude as she can be! Been going here for a while for breakfast and normally never had issues but this one topped the cake. Get rid of the one waitress and maybe people would actually enjoy their food/time.

One of the most inexpensive breakfasts I’ve had in years. Better value than Cracker Barrel! Food is delicious, service is excellent, dining area and bathrooms are clean, and everyone is very friendly. Highly recommended!
