Just wow
I was just driving… minding my own business… not even very hungry
And then BOOM I found this place with surprisingly amazing taste.
First impression? Very good!
Big parking space (no parking stress = already happy ),
clean seating (table said hello before I sat),
and a friendly owner and server who made me feel welcome the moment I walked in.
Now… let’s talk about the real hero — FOOD ️
I ordered Malai Kofta.
Rich, creamy curry with soft kofta balls made of paneer.
One bite… and my brain said, “Why have you not come here before?” ♂️
Seriously, love at first bite ❤️
I paired it with Kerala Paratha —
crispy, soft, and perfect for dipping into that creamy curry.
This combo was so good, my plate was empty before I realized what happened
Yes, the curry quantity might look a little small,
but trust me — it’s enough for one person.
After finishing, there was only one thing left… no space for takeaway
Overall, great food, good vibes, happy stomach.
I didn’t plan this stop, but now I’m planning my next visit for sure
Highly recommended if you like good food and zero regrets!

The best Indian food I’ve had in Syracuse! The owner, Mr. Ravi, and the staff create such a positive and welcoming environment, which makes the experience even better. The food is incredibly flavorful, authentic, and clearly made with care—every bite was a delight! And the best part? It’s super affordable. For all the students out there looking for delicious Indian cuisine that won’t break the bank, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

I recently visited with my family and was one of the most incredible meals I’ve had. As soon as we walked in, the smell of warmth and spices made our mouths water.
️ Every dish tasted freshly prepared, with bold, layered spices and tender, juicy meats.
The garlic naan was soft, seasoned and perfectly blistered. My son’s butter chicken was rich and velvety, and my fella’s chittenad was delightfully fragrant and spicy. I had the tikka masala, and it was the best I’ve ever had. Truly, it was so good I could cry.
Portions were generous, and everything arrived hot. Service was wonderful – friendly and attentive.
If you’re thinking about trying this place, stop thinking and just go. Just go. It’s so, SO good.

For it being my first time having Indian food it was a great first experience. The food was delicious with a large depth of flavor and variety. The service was amazing and accommodating. Amazing place for all levels of spice tolerance which was a big worry for me but they have a range of slice because every dish is cooked to order. Overall, Id absolutely recommend.

Waitress was delightful and helped me pick from a very large menu. First time here.
I’ve been trying different Indian restaurants and I think this place is wonderful. I think it’s the best raita I’ve had. They had an eggplant appetizer that was DELICIOUS! The chicken tiki masala was very good and the naans were fantastic!!!!! Worth every penny.

The food was excellent. Dishes were served in orderly manner with good presentation. Just be careful that the spice level is on the high side. The service was phenomenal as waitress were very kind and polite. Also, the owner opened the restaurant for us for extra hour and let us finish our food entirely. The seating area was good with plenty of seating. One thing to note is that they do charge you 3% extra for paying by credit card. So, bring cash if you can.

First time at Flavor of India after several recommendations from family and friends, and it lived up to the hype. I ordered the butter chicken (mild), garlic naan, and a mango lassi and everything was delicious, especially the butter chicken sauce and the naan. The service was friendly and very attentive, and they even gave the four of us complimentary ice cream to try (we tried strawberry & vanilla, both great but the vanilla was extra goooood). This will be my new go-to Indian spot. Super convenient for the east side Syracuse suburbs! Looking forward to coming back to try the Sunday lunch buffet.

Wonderful experience!! My family ordered the Lamb Rogan Josh (red one) which was very tender and flavorful; just be prepared for spice which can be adjusted. We also ordered the Goat Korma (yellowish curry) which was all of our favorites because it was so creamy and delicious. I really recommend the Goat Korma for people who want mild spice, comforting creaminess, and an abundance in flavor. Really amazing service too!

Wow, just wow. I was blown away to find good food in the Syracuse area. I know I am jaded, living in NYC. But this food was delicious, better than some places in NYC. My lamb was so tender, and the saag was perfectly flavored. The tandoori shrimp was cooked to perfection and also so flavorful. And the chicken appetizer we got was also very tasty. I am surprised that this place was not busy with food this good. I’ll probably be stopping here every time I visit. The staff were friendly too. Do yourself a favor, and try this place out!
