I called to order 68 loaves of bread. Hannah was so professional and helpful in assisting me. Their customer service has always been exceptional. As far as the product: my co-workers and I just might be addicted to the bread- it is DELICIOUS! Thank you Hannah 🙂

On November 16th my husband went to check out this bread store while I was getting my nails done.
When he got there, not knowing they were closed on Sunday’s. He walked up to the door which open, but lights were off.
Another customer pulled up to go in, but my husband told her they are closed but door is open.
He told her he was going in to make sure everything was ok. He told her if something goes wrong to call 911.
He walked in and said hello…is anyone in here?
He checked restrooms and every place someone could hide. He found nothing.
When he left he pushed door and it locked.
He went to Blaze pizza and asked who the owner was, and gave his info.
He went back Monday to let them know what happened. The 2 boys working didn’t seem to care. I fact one said “I closed Saturday and I know I locked the doors. My husband said” No it wasn’t, one door was open. Look at your cameras you will see me.
We bought some bread and left.
We called the corporate number and left message about what happened. We never heard a word.
This could have been a very scary situation. This could have been a bad situation with an employee with a grave out come.
I guess being a honest citizen doesn’t mean anything these days.

Stopped in for a late breakfast and had a loaded ham breakfast sandwich on their sourdough bread. It was delicious.

The lady that helped me and seemed to be in charge (I failed to get her name) was very kind and served with a smile.

There are plenty of tables both inside and out to enjoy your meal or perhaps a cup of coffee and a sweet of your choice.

There was only one person working this afternoon. She had great customer service skills and did a great job making our sandwich. We asked if she was the only one working. She said sometimes there was only one person working the
2 to 6 pm shift. It didn’t seem fair to her. What if something happened and she fell or she had a physical customer. I want to shop and eat at establishments that show a high regard for their employees safety.

The Great Harvest Bread Co. located at Fairview and Cloverdale has done a little remodel since we were last in.
The atmosphere is crisp and clean and the staff is very friendly. We enjoyed orange cranberry scones and coffee.

Amazing baked goodness. Variety of tasty foods. Friendly and helpful employees behind the counter. Great sandwich or salad options for lunch. The spicy grilled cheese and apple sandwich is the best. Prices ok. Dine in or they do a great job with food for events as well. Worth the visit.

The bread and sweets are absolutely delicious! The staff is nice and the sandwiches are good. They give free samples of bread or cookies when you stop in. I suggest trying everything available. Some of them will surprise you. My favorite is one that I didn’t expect to like. I also really like that they have gluten-free bread.

The only negative I have to mention is the size of the gluten-free sandwiches. They’re significantly smaller than the regular sandwiches, but at the same price. Before I found it necessary to go gluten-free, I used to order a half sandwich. However a whole gluten-free sandwich is barely bigger than a typical half sandwich. I’d love to see them go to giving you 1 1/2 gluten-free sandwiches for the price of the whole sandwich, even if it meant $1 extra for the gluten free bread. Thanks & God bless!

One of my favorite bakeries in the treasure Valley! Both of the treats I got were phenomenal, especially the red velvet roll! It definitely did not last long in this household. Also if you’re in here make sure to ask him for a slice of bread as a sample. From what I remember they typically ask you if you’d like the sample but if they don’t just ask! I definitely need to find myself here again soon. Can’t wait to try all their other treats!

I have been here twice now and so far it’s just meh…. The cinnamon roll was a bit dry and not very cinnamon-y or gooey like cinnamon rolls are supposed to be. The challah was way too heavy and hard to pull apart. Challah is supposed to be light, eggy, and flavorful without having to add anything like butter, jam or honey. I won’t buy it again here. I got a Ruben sammy. It was super tiny for $11, not worth the price. Rubens are supposed to have sauerkraut, but this sandwich had so little that I had to actually dig around to find the tiniest bit. Some folks really think this bakery is great but so far it’s been a disappointment. I will try one more time if they have gingerbread at Christmas. If they are dried out or lacking in gingerbready goodness, then that will be it for me.BTW the smells are delicious, but the bread slicing machine is SO LOUD that is difficult to carry on a conversation while in use. They should consider moving it to a position as far away as possible from the guests.

Listen, I love Great Harvest Bread Co. but today missed the mark. I would rather be told that you don’t have avocado than get old, brown avocado on my $10 sandwich. Had to scrap it off.
