Oh my goodness! So GOOD! I am definitely going to go back again soon! They were so very gracious and welcoming, the food was amazingly good, priced very fairly, and the portions were perfect! Very highly recommend their shakshuka and shwarma – I had to look twice to make sure my grandma wasn’t working in the kitchen because It tasted that good! 🙂 YUM!

If you walk into Yesh Hummus hungry, you will walk out full, happy, and questioning your life decisions—in the best possible way.

I came in “just for something small,” you know, classic Lakewood guy lie #1. The portions here are so big I’m convinced they’re measured with a shovel, not a spoon. The plate hits the table and suddenly you’re like, “Wait… did I accidentally order the family-size catering package?”

The shawarma? Warm, perfectly seasoned, and piled so high it’s basically a structural engineering miracle. The hummus is smoother than a yeshivishe bochur trying to get out of helping set up for a simcha. And the pita… fresh, soft, and disappears way too fast because you keep saying “one more dip,” until you realize you’ve eaten half of it before the mains even arrive.

Service is quick, friendly, and no-nonsense. They know what you want before you figure it out yourself. You sit down, blink twice, and suddenly your whole table is covered. Mamash hashgacha pratis.

Inside, it can get a little chilly—bring a jacket unless you’re the type who claims “I’m not cold” while visibly shivering. But honestly, between the sizzling grill and the huge plates, you won’t be thinking about the temperature for long.

Bottom line:
If you want delicious, fresh, Israeli-style food that actually fills you up, Yesh Hummus is the place.
Just don’t pretend you’ll have leftover room. We all know you won’t.

Highly recommended—bring an appetite, maybe bring a friend, and definitely bring a plan for a nap afterwards.

Excellent authentic Israeli cuisine packed with bold flavor that will make you come back for more. The quality and the freshness of ingredients of the food warrants the price.
Friendly staff and atmosphere in the restaurant.
100% Kosher.
Pro tip: On the side of the restaurant, they have a wide variety of sauce bottles. You can get as many as you want! Mix and match to get the most out of your Yesh order.

Totally worth the 20 minute drive from my house. Wanna come back and try the falafel, but the shawarma was so good that I’d be sad not to get it again. Not a bad predicament to be in!

Checked out this place based on reviews seen here. We have a weakness for shawarma’s, and so couldn’t resist once I heard about this authentic place.. The food was really good, didn’t disappoint at all. We had the shawarma and parviyot.. The sweets (bakhlava) didn’t impress at all, may not have been that fresh. It is a little bit of a hike for us, but worth it. They’re closed on Fri and Sat, so keep that in mind.

First time here, would definitely try again. This is a kosher establishment.
At first I felt like I wouldn’t be welcome as I’m not of the same faith. However, the gentlemen were nice, friendly, and answered all of our questions pertaining to the menu. Food was good and fresh. Would go again just to try a different selection. Not an intimate space more like a local meet and eat but great service.

I have visited Yesh several times and it had always been delicious from the schawarma, falafel, saving, shakshuka, and more. And don’t get me started on all the delicious israeli salads and sauces and homemade pita. The employees are friendly and give lots of helpful suggestions. I have also catered from them dozens of times for 100+ people and they have always been great to work with.
