For takeout. Large Caldo De Res (Beef Vegetable Soup), $14. Service was quick.–As advertised, the caldo de res indeed had short rib. Broth was a bit bland, but do-able. Beef tasted fresh, however, what good is having short rib if it’s not properly cooked. Not tender at all. A good deal of time was spent chewing. Oddly enough the squash in the soup was chewy as well, don’t know how that was achieved. –Disappointing. (Isn’t there a restaurant in El Paso that can make a decent caldo de res?) All other reviews say the food is great at this place, I’ll give them another chance and will update this.

No joke Great Spot. Southwest Burger is so delicious & Menudo tastes like home. Very good servings we were very pleased. Our server Eddie was very attentive brought me an extra cup of ice, such a nice gesture and he was very quick he hustled had everyone filled up and refilling actually both servers were very busy. Place filled up quickly. Looked around the room listened to the light chatter and laughter, everyone looked very happy and enjoying themselves. ♥️ we have eaten at a lot of places this is one of our new favs we will be back. Also Loads of options on the menu.

Best Mexican food I have had in a long time. Fajita meat was tender, in big chunks, and had a unique and flavorful seasoning. The exterior and interior does not look too good but the food is great. Even the beans had a nice spice and some chunks of pork.

This place was suggested to us by a local and boy where we impressed! Food was great, best chile relleno I’ve ever had. My son ordered the southwest burger and it was amazing. My husband’s fajitas were perfect. Get the pastor fries, they were awesome!

Here we are again in the valley, and I’ve found myself a cozy breakfast spot. Hearty portions and excellent flavors. I had The Three Missions breakfast, and it’s not for the weak, just like the menu said. Definitely a spot you should visit if you’re ever in the area.

I saw this place while visiting the mission. The sign outside said, “Gorditas Sold Here” I am a gordita lover so I had to try them. I was pleasantly surprised. These tasted like my grandma’s and almost made me feel like that moment on that Disney movie Rattatoue. The chile rojo gorditas were awesome. The queso fundido with green chile, chorizo, and mushrooms was the best I have had anywhere I been. I recommend you come and try this little gem. Just don’t get it with the rice and beans so you can finish all three gorditas.

Ran across this little place and decided to give it a whirl. There is ample parking here, unless something is going on at the casino, which overflow traffic trying to park in here would probably fill up quickly. Most days parking is not a problem. This is a wait to be seated kind of place, with table service, and you pay your server when finished. I walked in and was greeted friendly and fairly quickly and seated by my choice of table. Tile floors with a little local nostalgia make up the ambiance on the interior. No booths, just tables. This is not a big place, and the food I ordered was fantastic tasting, so I could see that getting a seat at times might be a problem. I ordered “Gabriel’s Omelet Skillet”, it’s a little pricey, but fast food might be $9.00 cheaper, but the quality of the food here and the amount of portions was off the charts. The omelet was covered in cheese with diced ham and sautéed bell peppers & onions and more cheese on a bed of hashbrowns. It’s REALLY good. Came with 2 sausage links and 2 pieces of bacon. The sausage had a unique flavor, no sage taste, yet it was good. This meal also came with 2 fluffy pancakes, and all of this food was fresh off the griddle. It was piping hot. I had coffee and water, and the coffee was good and robust. The only bad trip of this visit was the service, short heavy set woman was my waitress and I had to flag her down for refills, I got 1 from her and had to wait for my water to be brought to me. The other waitress filled my cup a couple of times. The waitress came to my table only once, right after I received my food to check on me, after that nothing. So I didn’t leave her much tip either. Good service, great tip, bad service, be lucky if you get anything at all. However, this is a great place with great food. Maybe you get the other waitress who was on it, but I will go back. 1.5 thumbs up

Awesome food. Love the Skillet with chile con quezo, it’s the best Mexican desebrada with eggs, delicious. Plates are served with good hefty portions. Good friendly service, our waiter, Eric was great. Place is a little small and will probably have to wait a few min for a table but for me, it was worth it. We definitely recommend this place.

I ordered a fish plate and didn’t have a chance to touch my food. When our waitress, Ale, came by and asked if I wanted to take it home, I said yes. Instead of packaging it, she threw the entire plate away. When we asked about it—assuming she was preparing it to-go—she laughed, said “oops,” and made no offer to remake the dish, discount it, or remove it from the bill.

Her service throughout the visit felt disorganized, and she seemed distracted and inattentive. We typically enjoy dining here and rarely experience issues, but this was by far the most disappointing visit we’ve had.
