I used to work in a Greek restaurant and I’ve traveled to Greece several times. The Horiatiki (Greek village salad) had oregano and capers and was one of the best I’ve ever had in the U.S. The baklava was one of the best I’ve ever had (including my own), and the galaktoboureko was slightly warm and just creamy (the custard) and crispy (the phyllo). Yum. The pork belly pita was unusual, but very tasty too. I had an ouzo sunrise the night before, and it was memorable. I’ll definitely come back when I’m in New Orleans.

Super friendly and the food was delicious! Freddo cappuccino was perfectly made. For lunch, we had the xoriatiki (Greek village salad) and the chicken gyro (Yeero) plate. Definitely recommend. Very good!

Very welcoming venue. The tables we 3 were seated was small with smaller chairs making a bit difficult to arrange all plates and glasses. The food was ok. The fried cheese dish was too salty and quesedilla more bread than filling. But good quick service. The pie for dessert was good.

A very classic looking place with great staff and average food. Loved the decor of the place, but the food was way more expensive and probably not as value for money. We loved the variety of hummus and dips but the pita bread has enough headroom for improvement.

The food is so authentic! It was absolutely delicious! The bartender was great and the ouzo lemonade was a big hit. A little too tart for me but my husband loved it! The atmosphere was quaint and great for people watching in the street. We just happened to stumble in and so glad we did!

It was a very lively and wonderful evening atmosphere in the restaurant after a long day of celebration during Mardi Gras. I was at the time emotionally spent and I didn’t want to continue with being outside and functioning as a model visitor of New Orleans after the long day of standing and walking around.

My food which was their Greek chicken soup, the ribeye and at the end of the night I had a Virgin Pina Colada and their Chocolate Pie. Every single item was cooked and ready to perfection and it was the perfect meal for me when I was feeling a little bit queasy. I recommend my food choices for future tourists and locals who are looking for a more hearty meal than say a spicy meal. They were definitely made with care and worth it at the end of the day. I loved everything I had while my mom had said similar sentiments for her dishes as well (lamb chops, the lentil soup, and her Pina Colada with fresh fruits as a dessert).

Just a heads up for those that don’t know my mother has Gluten intolerance. The waiter himself confirmed most menu items have no gluten in them. Desserts however are a different matter unfortunately for those that are curious if they cater to certain allergies.

The only thing bad I could potentially write about the experience is the waiter that served us. He only served us with one glass of water the whole meal and didn’t ask if we wanted more drinks that night. He was not terribly attentive of our wants and needs and he was quick to get away from us. He was however polite and cordial and answered our questions when we asked even if we waited a while for him to give us our bill.

It was a stellar experience and I recommend others to go there as it was a generally wonderful experience. I don’t usually give reviews unless it suits my interests so I hope this was helpful in making a decision for those looking to have a good time after a long day.

The most beautiful place I’ve visited. From the moment I arrived, the warm welcome, the cleanliness, and the coffee were all wonderful. You can sit anywhere you like.

I would like to thank the staff member Biljana — she was truly amazing and very kind

My husband and I were in New Orleans last week and were looking for a little variety from the usual fare and came across this restaurant. The place was impressive and very clean, the waiter was very polite and explained the dishes. My husband had chicken soup and I had the spanakopita, the Ouzo cocktail was delicious and very innovative . Whilst my dish was a little overcooked it didn’t deter us from returning a few days later while we had a little time before returning to London and again the mezze platter was lovely and the pita bread fresh and fluffy. I would recommend everyone tries this place if you’re looking for an alternate cuisine !

Was craving Mediterranean food and had the pleasure of stumbling upon this jewel. This is no street corner every day Mediterranean restaurant this is authentic Greek food. Some of the best food I’ve had in a long time! The waitress was telling me that all of the food is imported from Greece and you can definitely tell. Everything was amazing! Will definitely be back. What a hidden jem in the French Quarter.
