They offer a wide variety of items on the menu. We ordered the Salmon, Pork Chop, and the Filet entrees. We found all to be extremely good, but the Salmon was excellent. The food and service were so good, we went back two more times while in town for work.
Even without a reservation (we didn’t know we needed one) the staff made us feel completely welcome!
The food was beyond terrific. There were so many unique things to choose from! We loved all our dishes. My son even made me take a picture of the kids Mac and cheese! Totally recommended this place! Our server was fantastic and knew the menu really well.
We ordered a bowl of soup, a Caesar salad (hold the protein), and the Cajun shrimp special. I watched our ticket go into the kitchen the moment we sat down—perks of being seated right next to the action. The salad was whipped up in record time… and then left to marinate in the warm kitchen air for what felt like the better part of a Netflix episode.
By the time it made it to the table—accompanied by a fly who had clearly taken ownership of it—the lettuce had given up on life. Warm, wilted, with two lonely croutons and some Parmesan that looked like it had been sweating under pressure. The dressing had vanished somewhere into the greens, and I had to request more just to taste it.
The staff looked like they’d all been grounded before service—no smiles, no spark, just a room full of people counting down the minutes. Not exactly the vibe you’re hoping for when you’re trying to enjoy a night out.
On the bright side, the cocktail was solid and the location was lovely. So, two stars—one for the drink, one for the location, and a bonus nod to the fly for sticking with us through it all.
