Overall we were very impressed with the pizza and service here on our first visit to North Market. My kids wanted pizza so this was the stop. The pizza was fresh and hot and very good for the price. The standout here was the woman working the counter on Saturday Nov 15, 2025. She was super friendly not just to my party but everyone we saw her interacting with. She was proactive and even offered to slice the pieces into thirds to make it easier to eat for all the kids. She was upbeat, positive and friendly and really contributed well to our first time experience at the market as we are from out of state. Job well done

Man, this was a pretty fun place. You can see the pizzas out which will of course make you want a slice and you can just go talk to him and get your pizza. They say it’s New York style and I think it’s only because his sliced large. It’s really not New York tasting pizza. It’s more of a New York slice of pizza

Disappointed. Wanted to try a slice. Tried to order from menu of toppings because was excited to see two of my favorites on there. Worker just stared me down with contempt as I said Hi! (Fine – I get it. Customers are annoying). I tried to order from the menu above me. Then worker told me that one of the toppings I requested wasn’t on their menu . . . that I literally read from to order. Went to the booth next to them instead.

Not sure who the normal crew is but we’ve been here before and must have gotten the C-squad working on a Monday. The young guy up front didn’t say a single word to me, seemed like an inconvenience for me to order. I don’t expect you to initiate or keep a conversation going but when I say “how’s it going today?” You can do something more than just give me a non verbal blank stare. I asked about one of the pizzas toppings and just got the same blank stare by the dude at the register. I ordered 4 pieces of pizza and as he was stacking them he dropped each pizza like a foot up from each other and after bagging them, held all the pieces up towards his head and plopped them all down and went back to talking with co workers. It splattered in the bag, the paper on top stuck to the pizza and took all the cheese and toppings off. I have been here before and did not have this experience but felt like the guy is either on his way out or looking to get fired for some reason.

Worst pizza my family has ever had … Sunday labor weekend ordered a whole cheese pizza 40 minutes before market closed … got it with extra cheese but didn’t appear to have extra cheese … crust was burnt …. Cheese was burnt … had over abundance of whatever they sprinkle on it … sauce was sparse without much taste … worst pizza we’ve ever had … my family and I, when we travel always try to seek out pizza shops to try. Over the years we have never had a pizza that we just threw in the trash because it was so bad. Doesn’t even deserve one star.

I know I sound old by saying this, but damn this generation is not made for customer service. Couldn’t even get a hi or smile from the child at the register. And since I didn’t tip for my $4.50 pizza, he threw it down on the counter and walked away. Pizza is nothing special.

Says it is new york style pizza but definitely is not. Sauce tastes bland but old and lacking flavor like it was a cheap generic brand, not fresh tasting at all. The crust and toppings were average nothing worth noting.
