Love this place! Great prices and SO yummy! We can order and it is still hot over 20 miles away. Our favs are the kung pao beef and special chicken! But everything we have had is so good. Small indie sitting area but a nice area outside as well!

The food is delicious. I drive an hour to pick up their food. I just had a birthday party and I ordered all my food from them. Easily the best Chinese restaurant in San Diego County. The place doesn’t look like much but I order take-out. At least it’s clean. The service is a bit gruff. The lady behind the counter snaps if you ask a question. I asked about a to-go menu and she responded like I had asked a bad question. Lol. I’ll forgive anything they say if they keep up with the good food.

What a disappointment. Yesterday, I ordered the Garlic Chicken and House Special Beef and both were terrible. The beef was very dry and chewy. The chicken wasn’t much better. I used to really love this place and would recommend it highly. Lately I have mostly been cooking at home to eat healthier and I hadn’t been here for awhile. I’m not a fussy eater, but yesterday’s food was so substandard that I can’t see even trying here again. Sorry.

My goodness this is got to be a hole in the wall . Loco have a most terrific place to get a great bite to eat. The serving size was perfect not to much and most definitely not a small amount. With tables pleated in the courtyard or in-house dining . The fountain drinks was a classic touch to get what feels right and help yourself. They also had the perfect spicy and savory on each table to add a pinch of the way you like it. Awesome ! The staff was more than friendly and the cook’s did phenomenal job in making your dining an excellent experience. It didn’t take them long to have my order but it is differently worth the wait. Keep up the amazing job . House special crispy chicken a slam dunk .

I like this Chinese restaurant before heading to the local 24 Hour Fitness. The plate is extremely large and well worth the price. One order can feed a family of four. My only issue is there is not enough rice. Other than that the food is really tasty. Quick service within minutes.

I have not eaten from Great Wok in years. These guys had never been on DoorDash (as far as I remember) but noticed them on it last night and ordered house special chow mein noodles, bbq pork fried rice and house special kung pao.
The food was good! Tons of flavor and the portions were fantastic. The prices on DoorDash were the same as the prices in-store and not jacked up like many other places. I live close and could easily pickup myself but I like supporting the gig-economy drivers who are struggling in today’s economy.
Can’t wait to order again from these guys and try some other dishes.

Just ordered their shrimp fried, it was fresh and hot, just disappointed the sauce was on the sweet side. This dish would of been better if it was on the savory side, just my opinion.

This is the first time I got bad food here. I ordered 2 lunches to go. I had my favorite sweet and sour pork. It was edible but the pork had a very strange aftertaste and the white rice was dry – what my mother would have called cardboard rice. The other meal was moo goo gai pan and my friend had asked if fried rice could be substituted for the white rice. But instead of getting fried rice the cook gave her white rice drenched in soy sauce. That was really bizarre! And the chicken in her meal was shriveled and very unappetizing.
I checked the reviews after seeing the food and the recent ones seemed to be as many good as bad. Several reviews mentioned that the Great Wok has a new owner. I really hope that our bad meals were just a fluke. In a couple months I will give it one more try and hope that the food is as good as it has been in the past.

You get more food than Panda and for cheaper ! I love lil Chinese fast food restaurants like this. I’ve been looking for something other than panda and I finally found it. Imma come here more often cause it’s just dope ! 2nd time coming here: I ordered the beef and broccoli and the beef was sooo chewy and hard to swallow ! :- /
