as a person that I used to work at a very busy high-end Jersey Mikes in Destin, Florida, I got DoorDash today and decided to fulfill my cravings but by far the best thing about Jersey Mikes is their service and their food. Their food is very filling for the price very well portioned and it’s basically like an explosion of flavors in your mouth if I ever need a sub Jersey Mikes will definitely always be my go to.

My first time ordering from this establishment was nothing short of spectacular. The shop was so clean, and tastefully designed, the staff was all super friendly, and the subs, though they appear a little smaller than other competitors, and a bit more expensive were totally worth it. The bread, meat, and toppings were all super fresh tasting, and the staff works quickly, but still takes their time in making the sandwiches well. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in town shopping, because unfortunately, my hometown doesn’t have a JM location.

I stopped at this location while traveling through and I had to sit and write a review to really shine a light on just how amazing the two workers are that were working tonight (9/1, 6:30pm, a guy and a gal). As someone who has worked in the customer service industry for over 10 years and started at the store hourly level, this experience was completely made by these two individuals. I just had dinner at a star restaurant in Chicago and I did not receive NEAR the customer service as I did with these two individuals. They greeted every person enthusiastically when they came in the door and made sure to tell them to have a great day when they left. They were both upbeat and conversed with every customer that came through the line. They also made a point to correct the orientation of meat on my sandwich to ensure it was consistent. These two are doing a phenomenal job and if I could hire them to work for me, I would without hesitation. These two need a raise and appreciation for providing such amazing customer care when today’s industry standard has become minimal effort and inconsistency. It was refreshing to eat here and if I lived closer, I would be here often to support this business. Sandwiches were amazing and this was a great experience overall!

8/27/2025: My wife offered to pick up a sub for me on her way home and asked me to write down what I wanted. I wrote, ” a regular size BLT on Italian bread with Mayo.” This is a simple, classic American sandwich. Apparently it apparently was too complicated for the sandwich maker to make properly: what I had when my wife came home and gave me the bag was a smaller than usual regular sub on stale bread with bacon — No lettuce, No tomato, and No mayo, a new twist on “Mike’s way.”
I don’t waste food, so I ate the almost flavorless cardboard imitation of a BLT. A large glass of cold milk makes almost anything palatable. Needless to say, I won’t be back or ask me wife to pick up a sub for me at Jersey Mike’s.
3/11/2025: My wife and I went for lunch. She had a regular veggies sub that was stuffed with cheese. I had the regulat tuna but now they have bacon available, so I added it. Really upped the flavor. The vanilla-agave soda is terrific and an unusual offering.
9/18/2024: Ordered a regular tuna with mayo, pickles, lettuce, tomato, and jalapenos. The soda dispenser wasn’t working, so I had to ask one of the staff for ice. I got a cup with about a half dozen cubes which meant warm soda. Reduced my rating by one star.
7/7/2023: Had a Philly Cheese Steak regular sub. Size and price were good, but the sub was way too salty!
8/7/2022 We went back for lunch and I had a regular tuna with pickles, lettuce, and mayo. My wife had the veggie. Both were good. The vanilla-agave cream soda was delicious.

Tried their Italian (double meat), and it was amazing. Went back the next day and got a Giant Philly (double meat) that was just next level. Very clean and loaded with polite staff. I’ll definitely return.
