We also offer grilled catfish, shrimp, chicken, and hamburgers. They also offer Cajun French fries, hush puppies, salads, homemade green and pinto beans, and Coco Cola products and Beer. I was traveling from Denver to Orlando with my son, and once we hit Louisiana, we knew we had to stop for crawfish — when in Rome, right? I did a quick search for the best crawfish spot near Shreveport, and Chick Wagon Crawfish came up first with great local recommendations. When locals point you somewhere, you listen — and I’m really glad we did.
The place was packed, and I arrived just in time; about an hour later they were completely sold out. The seasoning was absolutely out of this world, some of the best crawfish I’ve had. The service was outstanding, especially considering how busy they were.
I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in the area. If you’re anywhere within 45 minutes (or even a bit farther), it’s well worth the drive.

Good crayfish. Listed as best in city. Did not meet hype. Ate 3lb order. Explained at time of order if it was good, would order 2lbs more. Attempted to order 2 more lbs, was required to order minimum of 3lb, but priced by the lb. Very poor communication and cheap marketing trick, very deceptive business practice.

Absolutely top-notch experience with Chunk Wagon Crawfish! I bought 200 pounds of live crawfish to boil, and I was seriously impressed—about 98% were alive and kicking, and the size was excellent. No tiny ones, just good, meaty crawfish perfect for a big boil. Super happy with the quality and will definitely be back. Love these guys!

We were looking forward to trying a new crawfish place tonight, we walked in waited in line then got seated. They only had three other tables that were eating so they weren’t that busy, girl seats us and says your server will be right with you. I noticed three or four servers walking around, even bussed the bar off right next to us. No one acknowledged us we were sitting for almost 10 minutes, another family got sat close to us and immediately they got a server. We left… disappointing

First time trying Chuck Wagon and it was great! They were busy and slightly limited on seating but had enough seats at the window bar top. We were greeted by Clay who was super friendly attentive waiter. Ordered 8lbs of crawfish and 4 potatoes and a corn with 2 cokes $80 tab. Well worth it crawfish was cooked to perfection, peeled great and flavor and spice was A1!! Will definitely be back

On 3/9/25, I did an online order for boiled shrimp, added 2 pc catfish, 1 chocolate chip cookie, and a drink. Food was ready as stated. Received a text message as the order was ready as well. Upon arrival, they were packed, but that didn’t slow down the service I received. My food was hot and seasoned just right. I enjoyed it all.

Had Sunday lunch here today with family. We had the crawfish pies appetizer and the fried shrimp and boiled shrimp platters. The food was delicious with only two exceptions. I was disappointed that they don’t carry Diet Dr Pepper (the nectar of life). But I did have a Mexican Coke which was nice, so sweet it’s like dessert in a bottle haha! Also I didn’t care for the cole slaw dressing. Imho it was a little heavy on the mayo side, but that’s probably just a personal preference.
Prices were reasonable. The service was exceptional!!! I’m sorry I can’t remember our server’s name. But she was very young, kinda tall, and had perfect eyelashes. Maybe she’ll recognize her description and remember us. I tipped her well!

Crawfish are great, just don’t weigh your bags. Started weighing my 3 pound bags and some of them are half a pound light…
Half a pound is not a small amount. Used 2 different scales with the same result . One bag 2.6lbs, the other bag was light

Crawfish were a lot better at the wagon. I ordered shrimp that were lukewarm like they had been reheated 20.00 plus for that and two potatoes . Crawfish were reheated also or cooked too long . Crawfish have gotten so expensive their taking the onions out the bag and changing extra for them . Disappointing we’ve supported for many years just not worth the money .

Quiet, clean, comfortable with lots of natural light. Our server Cameron gets an A+ from us. Shared a catfish and shrimp platter with Cajun fries, hushpuppies and slaw. The food was piping hot and delicious. Can’t wait to go back.
