A lot of the wait staff are being trained by a local NGO. The service isn’t perfect, but they are trying. My food was a little slow and they were very accommodating, since they knew I had to catch the boat to Río Dulce in a little bit. I had the róbalo fish which was fresh and flavorful, but the plantain chips that came on the side really stole the show. I also tried guifity, which is a local herb-infused vodka made by the Garífuna. It came as a shot that I sipped on. It had a unique flavor that is hard to describe, but it was pleasant and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting who drinks.

We came here twice as the food is really good! They have some authentic options but also some Thai food which was super tasty. Great location as well and friendly staff.

The food is bad. I had the caprese salad and its nothing like normal caprese same for the red curry with coco and piñas. The only good thing were the piñas. The service didnt know the password to the wifi and when the asked me when to bring the main course they did being it with the salad anyways against what I asked them to. The view is great but I highly recommend not to eat there.

Good food and drinks. Caracol was a little overcooked but not too bad. Great flavor. Nice staff.

What a great find! This restaurant is a training school for young adults, the service courteous, professional and the food is excellent! Fresh, flavourful, good serving size and nice presentation.
I spent 7 nights in Livingston and had almost all my meals here.
Loved every bite and by dining here you help support the local community/youth with skills training.
Win-win!
Highly recommend.

Service was top notch and views from the deck were beautiful. I ordered the grilled Conch which was delicious and tasted similar to chicken. I also ordered the Coconut chicken curry with pineapple which sweet and savory. Adding some habanero sauce really made the flavors pop.

Worst Service Ever. We waited for coffee while we were eating, and even after we finished, nothing. We had to go and asked for it and then wait almost half an hour for a simple cup of coffee. So disappointing.

I never do reviews as i have been in the restaurant business for our 30 years but this was the worst service i have every had
who ever is doing the training needs to be trained along with the chef
server did not know basic knowledge of menu which should be taught before they ever go on the floor to serve
the wine was served in the smallest glass I have ever seen
food was cold wine was warm the music was on one minute and off the next seven people working no one knowing anything she charged me for a bottle of wine verses a glass
i have done alot of training in my life but this was just poor training for
the minute we arrived to the moment we left plus did not know it was a training restaurant until i read another review
so sad for these young people it’s the persons who was doing the training who really needs training aaaaa

We visited for drinks in the morning then later for dinner. Both times it was quiet but service was very good and the experience excellent. Prime view over the water and good quality dishes at the higher end of local food I suspect but also of a better standard. I had the shrimp fajitas and Jax the vegetable tempura. I can never fault a place where the beer pots come from the freezer!

We were here last Friday and the food was amazing!
Best tapado of Livingston (by far! Still dreaming about it ).
The waiters and the cook are students from La Associacion Ak Tenamit, so extra point for supporting the community!
