Loved this place. Great atmosphere, great service, and great food. Me and my family were welcomed as soon as we walked in the door. Got seated right away, it was not busy when we got there, so it was great for us. The food was delicious and our waiter, Luis, was very attentive. Clean place, will defenetly come here again.

This place is MINDBLOWING. My parents have came here a few times and now I know why! From my only experience so far, the service is great (although I didnt like that the server didnt let us know that she was leaving and another waitress was taking over) , but the food is fantastic I got the molcajete combo and it was great. The tortillas are made BY HAND which is mouthwatering to say the least. The beans are good, the rice was tasty, and I love that not only do they give you chips, but they also give u curiosity or the mexican pinwheels . My mom got “pollo Machado ” which is basically a chicken chimichanga with Chipotle sauce and that was by far the best. I was so surprised of how much flavor it had. I didnt get any dessert but apparently the fried ice cream is bomb. I will definitely be back!

We have been coming here at least once a month starting this year and have never been left down. The food is always delicious and service is very nice and quick. We’ve been to many Mexican restaurants in town but I would say that Mariachis is the top for us!

Mariachis has one of my favorite dishes – Arroz con Pollo, however, it appears that they may be under new ownership as the food came with bread instead of tortillas, and instead of a full basket of chips, it was half Mexican doraditas. The food was hot and tasted good, but I was disappointed that it lacked chicken and was mostly vegetables. The service was a little slow as I waited approximately 7 minutes to be seated. The server was friendly enough. Overall, I might come back again, but generally appreciate a more Mexican restaurant that provides tortillas with the meal. The tortillas are made fresh onsite, and they are willing to swap it out – you just have to ask. They will not offer it up front. I can’t remember if they said it was extra to do so.

I’ve been coming to Mariachis for 20 years now. I’ve since left the nest and live in NYC and nowhere I can find there can even come close to the molcajete from Mariachis at Turlock, CA and now I insist on visiting here whenever I come back to the hometown. I’ve taken all my friends, my family, and now my fiancée here and salivate thinking about it weeks ahead of time.

Solid three stars. Food was decent but service was non existent. My husband had to get up with his empty glass to go find someone to refill him. We weren’t checked on one time while we were eating, and we had to get up to go find the server to pay our tab at the end. Don’t think we’ll be back.

My family and I visit often. They know us when we come in as well as our usual orders. They pay attention to detail and know our usual order adjustments. Tonight I wanted something different but nothing was speaking to me. I love their Jalapeno Shrimp with that creamy jalapeno sauce they use. I asked if they could give me an order of taquitos with the same jalapeno cream sauce on top. They made it happen and it was absolutely perfect. Salsa is on point every time. I’ve yet to have a disappointing meal from this restaurant and I don’t foresee myself ever having one. It’s hard to find a place that will make what you want in your mind happen on the plate despite the fact that it’s not on the menu. Go there, try this, and you won’t be disappointed!

Place is under new ownership. Food is not up to par and not to the same quality as it was under the previous owners. Was such a let down. Service was slow and unattentive and there were only one other family in the establishment. If you’re under new ownership and management and the inside of your restaurant is dead the least you can do is be hyper aware of your customers and their needs. This was a one and done for me and my family. Won’t be returning.

Our first visit at Mariachis did not disappoint us at all, rather it exceeded our expectations. As soon as we entered we were greeted by friendly staff, and we were given a huge basket of fresh tortilla chips with two dishes of homemade salsa while we figured out our orders. We ordered a classic margarita and two tacos. The tacos had a lot of flavor and they were huge. The margarita tasted fresh, and was balanced perfectly. Plus Mariachis has a great atmosphere that every Mexican restaurant should model after. We will definitely come back, and recommend Mariachis to anyone looking for authentic Mexican cuisine in Turlock.

The carnitas plate I got was the saltiest thing I have ever ate. Didn’t eat it. Sadly it was delivered so just lost $15. It wasn’t that bad when I mixed it with the very tasteless rice. I ended up still throwing the carnitas away. Also my girl got a veggie burrito and I swear it tasted exactly like a Mexican pizza from taco bell 🙂 beans and cheese were good lol.
