Alright, picture this: you’re walking into this cozy little spot in New York, and you’re greeted by the sweet aroma of freshly filled cannoli. These are hands-down some of the best cannoli in the world. The shell has that perfect crunch, and the creamy ricotta filling is just the right balance of sweet without being too heavy. It’s the kind of treat that makes you go, “Okay, I get the hype now.” So, definitely worth a visit if you’ve got a sweet tooth.
We stop hear 19 years ago for the first time and have talked about going back. This year we got the chance to stop at our favorite little bakery again.
I wish they were able to ship me a few dozen because truly no ones compares to theirs.

Bakery with cookies, donuts, cakes and coffee. The cookies and donuts were good but coffees were lacking in size and flavor. We got a frosted sugar cookie, bluberry donut, and a nutrer butter sandwich cookie. One of the ice coffees was supposed to have pumpkin but tasted like just caramel. Free p8arking can be hard to find but there’s plenty of paid parking available.

I wish i had gotten more donuts. I am going to call and see if i can have some mailed. They are so good. The plain and powdered sugar are my fav. I cut them into bites sometime. I just visited the bakery (9/23/25). To get some donuts and tell them about the error in open times. I realized that it is correct on some browsers, including this one, google maps. The person who waited on me was very friendly and kind. We visited again, one reason was to visit the bakery. The website said it was open Monday. I drove in early and it was closed. A little hand written sign on the door. Please correct the website. We visited the area again. Review at the end. On our way out of town, we made a quick stop and I went in to Schneider’s bakery for a few donuts. Great selection but I chose a few regular donuts. Hopefully with a little less sugar. They smelled great and I am sure they will taste good. My wife does the smart thing and stays in the car. And also refrains from eating any. I wish I could do the same thing. Oh well. We visited the area again for 3 days. I had to stop back . The cake donuts were the b est I ever had. I got 6. Also I said to the kind young man who waited on me, I wish the cinnamon rolls did not have the topping. He said they were making them and maybe there were some in the back plain. There were. So I got 2. They were very good. I will just have to return.

Just an old school classic bakery. The donuts are what I came for, but honestly think I mostly enjoyed the cinnamon roll the most. The donuts weren’t bad by any means just weren’t the qualities of soft, fluffy, or flavorful that I look for. The cinnamon roll just the icing and the filling that gave it the flavor needed.

From the moment my husband and I walked into the bakery I was in heaven. The smell of the freshly baked goods was amazing- I wish I could keep it in a bottle!! Ian was there to greet us and we found out he is the owners son. He was helpful, appreciate and extremely patient as I didn’t know what to choose!! He recommended the fresh pizza that had just come out of the oven. I was thinking cinnamon roll at the time…soo.. I got the pizza and we took a dozen cookies, some fritters and my cinnamon roll home to eat later. The pizza was the bomb! So crispy and the fresh bread it was on was amazing. Sauce too! The decorated sugar cookies are amazing too! Tasty and acutely decorated! Also couldn’t leave without a half moon cookie. I’d be 300 pounds if I lived in town. We were just passing though and I’m so glad we went in. My lumberjack latte was amazing too. Ian took the time to explain the family history of the store as well three generations of his family running it since 1887!! His step dad really comes in at 2 am to make everything fresh too! I would most definitely stop in if you’re in town! If you’re a local I’m pretty sure you already know this!

Super tasty!! We tried everything from their famous old fashions, to cinnamon rolls, sprinkle donuts, their famous chocolate & vanilla bottoms, to cinnamon donuts filled with apples and another with raspberry. My favorites were the apple filled and raspberry filled cinnamon donuts.
Their iced coffee was super good too. There is no Starbucks or anything like that in Cooperstown, so I’d say their coffee was probably my favorite.

This has been a tradition inherited from my grandpa. Any time we were near the bakery, we had to get him 6 old fashion doughnuts. Now every time we go to cooperaotwn we need to stop. Not just for doughnuts anymore. The kids love the cinnamon buns, bagels and cookies also.

Really cute little bakery / cafe in Cooperstown, and good place to start your walk towards Hall of Fame. I got my favorite pastry, Linzer Tart, and I wish it was harder. It just crumbled as I pick it up..

What better way to celebrate a good doctor’s appointment for my love than a stop at Schneider’s Bakery for something sweet.
We went with a Cream Puff and a Lemon Square to share.
We both throughly enjoyed the Cream Puff, the pastry was light and airy while the cream was nice and chilled straight from the case, rich and yummy.
The Lemon Square was just OK, I prefer a lemon curd filling that’s thicker and Dawn noted oats as part of the base detracted from the overall taste.
Schneider’s has a nice bakery selection from breads to cookies to chocolate delights. There should be something for everyone.
There are two tables inside with four chairs each. A cold drink case and a coffee bar is also available.
I highly recommend stopping in for a treat.

Nice bakery, but the cinnamon buns were flavorless aside from the sugar blast from the glaze. It was basically a glazed donut, but shaped differently. Avoid until they have future versions evaluated by someone from the International Consortium of Cinnamon Bun Experts. I am the president of the organization. Try using some cinnamon.
