Mexican food happens to be my favorite, and coming from San Diego this spot is fire! Thank you so much Mia, Sandy, Axzl, Sofia, Brenda, Rubi, Daisy, Darwin, and Sammuel! Your staff and cooks are wonderful and thank you all for a great experience!

I usually go to this place faithfully, during lunch hour. After lunch idk what be going on but they always get my order wrong. So this last time I went they got it wrong again. I brought back all the food and asked for a refund, which I should have known they wouldn’t get right as well. Because it’s been almost 2 weeks I still haven’t received my refund. Thats cool I guarantee they won’t ever have worry about me coming back to this establishment.

If you want authentic Mexican food come here! It is very evident when you enter that it’s where all the locals go. The menu is extensive with lots of drink options as well. Our server was super friendly and even let my husband try one of the juices that he had never tried and he loved it.! He got the Beria tacos, which did fall apart easily, but were delicious. I got the flautas and they were absolutely phenomenal. We will definitely be coming back! I just wish I knew our server name so that I could give her a shout out because she was amazing!

This was my first visit. I tried a crispy gound beef taco and an al pastor taco on a corn tortilla with onion and lime. Both were really good. The customer service was great. My two tacos with a glass of iced tea was less than $10. They had great homemade tortilla chips. A mix of their two red salsas was what I liked best with the chips. I am excited to take my husband on Taco Tuesday where the al pastor and chicken tacos are $1.50.

I really enjoy this restaurant every time I come here, and that’s often! This is by far the best Don Chente in town. The overall vibe and look of the place hits you with a wecloming wave of culture and festivity. I love what they’ve with the Christmas Decorations! The food was amazing as usual and completely fairly priced.I will be back and everyone should be to!

Their barbacoa is some of the I’ve had. Red sauce is very good too, tasty but has the perfect spice kick to it. Employees are all hard workers.

Great place for some drinks out! We love the food! Amazing. I mainly wanted to come on here to express and show appreciation to our waitress “Jacky R”. Jacky if you’re seeing this, we loved your service and we always look forward to see you. I wanted to come on here to say this place is absolutely trash to Jacky, treat her horrible, and yet she’s still the sweetest. Some time ago, we encountered another waitress yelling at her and making her cry, yet she came to the table with the biggest smile ever, with the most amazing service. Our hearts broke when we seen her eyes but yet she was so incredibly kind and generous. “The sweetest person ever”- my wife. We tried to cheer her up with our dad jokes, but she was still upset. We asked her what had happened, she explained it was her first week training and the other waitress lost her patience with her because they were backing up with tables, she explained she needed this job because she wants a career, she had some family issues and health issues as well. We reminded her of the amazing person she is, truly! She is! We tipped her 100$ and no regrets! We recently went again and asked about her but she moved to the college station one! If you ever go ask for Jacky! No other better waitress and person as her!

The staff was friendly. I went inside to order, but I was alone it was busy so I went out to my car to wait ,Not only did they bring it to me it was so quick. I had a wet burrito it was good, big good $12. Big so I recommend this place. This one is off 21 close to 6 I guess they have a couple more locations. Like all places food depends on your cook.

We ordered the Quesa Birria Tacos and the Quesadilla Grande with fajita. The Quesa Birria had a crisp to the tortillas and the birria and consume had a great flavor. The cheese was also the perfect fit and had a solid cheese pull. The Quesadilla was great value for the price as it also came with refried beans, rice, lettuce and tomato. The fajita was actually very flavorful and good quality no cheap cuts of meat and again the cheese was the star of the show being light in flavor but still very cheesy and stringy. The tortilla also had a nice crisp to it and it was a packed quesadilla they do not skimp. We got an agua de sandía and while tasty it was also really sweet. Staff is very nice, friendly and attentive.

I absolutely love this place. It reminds me so much of growing up in inner Houston and eating at the taco places down the street. The food is reasonably priced and delicious. The servings are more than filling and the people are just so sweet. The only downside is that the music is just too loud for any conversation but that’s it.
