We have been going to Cafe de France for many years and never had a disappointing meal. Lovely location in the heart of Grimaud village. Staff are friendly and always helpful. Food is traditionally made with everything from salads, fish, steak and chicken.

Really enjoyed today’s meal although my veal chop was enormous but so tender and tasty, home came what I couldn’t manage
Good luck to these new owners, they have my vote and such a lovely setting in Grimaud village.

Overall ok, tasty, good service and a lovely outdoor terrace to enjoy the sunset. Nothing to complain about but also nothing to write home about. I think they were trying to cater for the international tourist clientele rather than the chef trying to make great regional food.

Extremely rude staff (the female waiter with blonde hair). Not a single smile, acting as if we were bothering her?! She rolled her eyes at us when we wanted another table for a better view of the mountain. ZERO professionalism. Her horrible attitude ruined our experience, it was my husband’s birthday. It’s just an average restaurant in an average French village. Stop being so arrogant and get back to Earth. Would never recommend this place even though the dishes were tasty. Shame on them…

Lovely place for a meal.
Menu is not huge but has a good choice of food and is the 1st place I’ve ever been able to get Fish and chips in France with lovely light batter.
Staff were friendly and helpful and the whole meal was good.
Would certainly recommend.

Location was great. We had 2 cappuccino’s which didn’t taste like a cappuccino, more like normal filter coffee with milk. Waiter was very nice at first but didn’t like the fact that we want to pay for our drinks with a card instead of cash, his mood went from very nice to rude. Great seats but unpleasant experience and not needed.

Quite decent food and great service from our waiter but the waiter / bartender who was balding with short white hair gave us a aggressive look for asking for a condiment. if people wonder why the rest of the world find the french arrogant and stuck up then you can blame swine like this, congratulations on perpetuating the stereotype. terrible shame your restaurant in such a beautiful location is tainted by filthy attitude of an old man, try another restaurant in the area.
