This place is great! My chicken was a bit on the dry side, but still had excellent flavors. The lamb chops were juicy and tender, perfectly cooked! The atmosphere is awesome. Our waitress, Ashley, was very kind and patient. I’ve never had Indian food before, and she answered every question we threw at her. All in all, this was a great experience and I look forward to coming back!

My first experiences with “real” Indian food were here, and I am very glad to have had them. The food is great, sometimes surprising, and generous servings were served. Their lunch buffet is our favorite, both for price and variety.
UPDATE: they closed about a year ago, so there is now no authentic Indian cuisine within an hour’s drive. VERY sad!!

First and last visit. Perhaps the most disappointing dining experience of the past four to five years. The entree was shockingly small, making me wonder if an appetizer was brought instead. I left hungry. The pieces of lamb were dry and overly spicy considering I asked for the mildest available. For the same price I could have had a meal at my usual Indian place down near Barrett Parkway. For that price I would have received about 400 percent larger portion and a superior meal. This is my first posted review which I’ve only done as I felt compelled to by my sad and shockingly disappointing experience. Although I live 5 minutes away from this restaurant I will continue to drive 45 minutes to Kennesaw for the excellent Indian food available there.

This was our first time eating here. I had the Chicken Vindaloo and ordered it spicy. It was awesome! Hot enough to light me up like a Christmas tree and that was just what I was after. They also have mild and medium versions for those that don’t like so much heat. We also ordered the garlic naan and it was perfectly done. The portions are generous and our server, Janet, gave us wonderful service. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I ordered take out just 30 minutes before close. My chicken Tikka masala was delicious, the basmati rice was perfect. I ordered the bread basket, it seemed over oiled to cover up that it was end of the day Naan. I placed order online about 15 minutes ahead, and still waited a bit in the restaurant. The food will bring me back, the service, not so much.

Wait staff was great… Even for our pick-up order. First impression was not great, given the adjacent EconoLodge and indeterminate ambiance. Multi-colored bar pendants hurt my eyes.
On to the food… Generous and tasty!
lamb biryani spiciness it’s just what you’d expect and very pleasing. Cauliflower app is early reminiscent of something from Express… Fun! Samosas–fried yumminess with potato inside, great for any Indian newbie–was a little bland on its own but great with chutney (ask for extra on the side). Unless you have a high tolerance for Indian spices, be sure to order a mango lasse to drink, even for mild dishes. Overall, great read for a book with a questionable jacket!

Loved it. First time eating Indian and I was very surprised at the vegetarian dishes that actually tasted good to me. People who know me know I rarely eat vegetables but this place I’ll make a exception. Definitely will be back

Herman, and all the staff were absolutely delightful. My wife and I were traveling for our anniversary and we’re so very surprised to find this restaurant. The way we were treated will make us return again and again every time we are in the area. Thanks again for everything you did to make our evening special. It is clear that the entire staff is interested in the restaurant being successful.

I grew up in Chicago near that Mecca of Indian food, Devon Avenue. I was understandably skeptical when my mother-in-law told me that I could find solid Indian food here in Calhoun, Georgia. I was pleasantly surprised. The Bangham bartha and butter chicken are solid, as is the paneer. Not too creamy the way they do things at some places.

Restaurant was hot and stuffy inside. Papadum was subpar and the chutney was served with no onions in a very small container. Naan tastes like it was bought at Kroger and toasted in a toaster oven. Waitress was very shy and unhelpful.
