Is it me or is quality and service taking a dive… I’ve noticed less traffic in there too.. might wanna have a manager there at night, I’ve yet to get correct order when I have it delivered and it’s never full either. That was supposed to be 3 different flavors with mixing inside.

Went recently for a date night. The selection of ice cream here is amazing! So many choices!! The service was fantastic, friendly and quick! Our ice cream was delicious and had a good amount of the mix ins. Will definitely be visiting again!

We’ve been into this location many times. The employees are always welcoming and friendly. When we’re had to wait in line I find it to be well staffed and they do a good job moving through the line without making you feel rushed or unimportant. A little kindness goes a long way. And I’ve always felt you get what you give. I’m kind when I walk in and have never had anything but welcoming and kindness from this location.
A lot of people leave reviews about a specific location (that’s actually locally owned and operated), about policies and procedures based on the franchise- NOT this location specifically. I personally don’t find that to be fair. You can see the sizing laid out very clearly when you order. This is like going to the beach and complaining that there is sand on your feet. Have some awareness, respect and kindness and I promise your experience will be great.
We love coming here and supporting a locally owned Cold Stone location and are very happy they’re in Windsor!

Last minute stop for ice cream last night and the crew working were so friendly and kind. Quickly filled our order with a smile. Love seeing young people in our community working hard at a locally owned business. Win win win!

Super disappointed. The teenagers who were working tonight seemed inconvenienced by our family wanting to buy some ice cream. We interrupted their deep conversation. Then we get our ice cream and it’s not mixed at all. My ice cream consisted of ice cream and a whole Reese’s peanut butter cup. I did the rest of her job and broke it down and mixed it in when I got home. The rest of our ice cream was the same- unmixed with whole Oreos/reeses/etc.
next time we come back, if these two are working we will skip CS and go to Dairy Queen instead.

I hadn’t been in a Coldstone in 25 years because the ice cream tasted a bit chalky and something in it upsets my innards. However I do eat ice cream at least weekly so upon finding the Windsor store thought I’d give it another chance. Alas, same thing. Texture isn’t great and it upset my innards which doesn’t happen with true premium ice creams (I assume the upset is caused by fillers like guar gum or carrageenan found in cheap brands but I don’t really know). Anyway, service was great and one in our group loved the waffle cone taste but for the price the ice cream should be better and the cold stone thing is pretty much a gimmick. I was treating several people so visit was quite expensive in total yet oddly they wouldn’t accept a $50 bill which was pretty annoying. With luck I might have another 25 years left in me and might try again then….

This store is a gem! I’m so glad Windsor has its own Cold Stone now. The staff are kind, knowledgeable and patient: I like to taste several flavors, then still have trouble deciding. They never rush me. I always take mine to go, but the store is a great place to sit and eat if I’m with grandkids. Thank you for being here!
