Was out taking photos in this area one Saturday and decided to get a bite to eat. Landed here at the lumberyard and had a great meal. The place was clean and the lady working the bar was super nice. I ordered their lumberyard burger special. It was really good burger, had lots of mushrooms and grilled onions on it. Their fryer was down so i opted for chips with my burger. One suggestion might be to look into making chips in house to go with the burgers and sandwiches. Customers can get regular potato chips at home, in house made chips add more to the sandwich, in my opinion.
They don’t take credit cards, so cash is a must. They do have an ATM on site and they also have a gaming room if that’s your thing.
They do offer a full service bar with beer and spirits.
Great place to stop and eat if you’re passing through the area! Would definitely frequent this establishment if i didn’t live almost an hour and half away.

The food is always great. Last night I got a Lumberyard Burger that was worth writing a review about. It was delicious. I am having the other half of it right now. Highly recommend. I wish I would have taken a photo. They make a pretty great fish bowl too.

Excellent food! My husband had the lumberjack burger and I had the chicken one. They were top notch! The girl at the register was very sweet too! We will be back next time we visit the area!

This is my favorite place to get food around cowden. I love their breaded pork tenderloin and corn nuggets the people who work here are extremely friendly. It’s definitely worth going here. They do bingo on Thursdays which I haven’t actually done but have heard good things about it. I will definitely always come back. Thank you for your service. And your delicious food.

Food is good but takes quite a long time to get it, we usually go here for drinks as well, decent prices on drinks and food, service people are really friendly and last time we went someone bought shots for the whole bar! Gotta love local businesses!
