I couldn’t tell you what contributed to my long wait time but I wouldn’t recommend coming here. I came at one of there least busiest times and it took 40 minutes to make my breakfast sandwich and platter from ordering it. Thats just too long for a small order when there it isn’t even busy.
They also have plenty of staff, the kitchen is visible from the sales floor. If you have time to waste, or patience, their food came out ok. Met my expectations. Not worth the amount of time I waited, a bit expensive too.

Manager Donovan assured me that my experience was due to understaffing caused by sickness. I get it, things happen and I can’t expect Hy-Vee to be perfect, thats why I’m updating my review because they recognized their shortcomings, compensated, and vowed to give me great service moving forward, thats all I could as for from a business when things like this happen. 4 ⭐️

We ordered a Cobb salad and wonton. It took over 30 min to get our food. The wonton and the fried chicken on the salad were over cooked. They were not busy.

My birthday is next weekend but I’m out of town so I wanted to buy a treat and this weekend. Purchased Friday and thought I got the one I pointed to in the front.
As you see, I got a old gross one that apparently was in the back. The chocolate chips old and turned bad. The decorative piece also turned bad and broken! The cupcake was stale.
Some birthday treat, right!
A month ago I purchased pepper bacon from the meat counter and it looked different in color so smelled to see if it was bad. It didn’t have a smell, so it was fried up and ate…..got bad food poisoning for the next 3 days!!
So, I will no longer buy food at Hyvee. Only refill water.

I have had good experiences here in the past but it’s really gone down hill lately. Stood in the doorway for a few minutes. No one around at first and then ignored by two ladies behind the bar. Had to ask about getting a seat and told that I had to order at the counter (this didn’t used to be the case). Had to get our own drinks, get our own silverware (and it was a challenge to find silverware that looked clean enough to eat from). Several tables were dirty. Food quality was mid. If you’re going to charge restaurant prices, you should get restaurant service. It was more like fast food quality and service at the price of a sit-down restaurant.

Why would you put pads of butter on top of pancakes to-go containers? The butter melted and ran EVERYWHERE all over in the bag. Both containers are COVERED in slimy butter. Maybe put the damn butter in its own container?? (Common sense people, come on now)

The food is very fresh and tasty. Our service was helpful and attentive. We did have one problem with an entree but the waitress and manager took the item off of our bill without us even asking for it. They even offered to make a replacement to take home free of charge. We declined the offer but appreciated the gesture. A nice place to grab a quick bite to eat, especially when you’re already going grocery shopping!

I waited over 20 minutes for a cheeseburger before finally asking for a refund. I wouldn’t have minded so much if I didn’t see everyone else around me get their food. I was already beyond hungry when I got here, waited 20 minutes and now have to go else where. I won’t waste my time here ever again. I prefer to shop at gerbes anyways.

My boyfriend and I went to the Conley Market Grill to give it a try. We have been to two other Market Grills and had better experience at the other places than at Conley. We were one out of four/five tables it was a pretty slow night the food was good but when presented to us my bun was burnt. Having worked side by side with Market Grill I know they bake these buns daily and having that served to a customer is frown upon. The waiter brought us a plastic fork since they ran out of regular forks. First off you don’t run out of forks, they just didn’t want to go the dishroom to wash some more.

Tuesday Burger Night with Tater Tots and Fries (unlimited) was made especially great because of the service provided by Bartender Austin Lewis. This fellow made service and attention to detail look easy and seamless. The burgers were delicious and cooked perfectly. The potatoes were okay, but I think could have been better with freshly replenished cooking oil. Otherwise, a delicious meal with excellent service in a trendy venue!
