They are famous for their signature dishes like the flavorful shrimp tacos, perfectly seared scallops, and rich aguachile and the kitchen seems to be just as skilled at the seafood side of Mexican food as the beef tacos that other local restaurants might offer.
Authentic mexican food? I don’t know, Mexico is a large country and I wouldn’t really know what authentic would be, but I do know that the vegetables are all fresh and the protein choices go way beyond just your usual beef, chicken and shrimp.
The drinks menu is extensive and creative, particularly its selection of agave-based spirits and expertly crafted cocktails like the popular spicy margarita (which my wife had), and described as both refreshing and well-balanced.
The ambiance at Agave Seasons is another key element of its appeal. Lively, trendy, and beautifully decorated, making it a popular spot for both casual weeknight dinners and celebratory occasions. We were there when it was very quiet (perhaps 7 tables occupied. That was great for a quiet, intimate meal, but I believe that it can get very busy at other times and require table reservations The service was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, with our server offering excellent recommendations from the menu that suited our cravings.
Prices are on the higher end for Mexican cuisine in the area, but easily justified by the superior quality of the food and the overall dining experience.
Agave Seasons delivers a memorable and delicious meal that successfully elevates traditional Mexican flavors in a stylish, contemporary setting.
The atmosphere and service was wonderful, the bartender Juan Carlos provided perfect recommend for appetizers, our entrees and dessert. We will definitely be returning and checking out their brunch soon. PS- get the pork belly bites and the churros! Unmatched
The service was not great. We wanted to sit outside next to the fireplace because we had our dog with us, but they said they couldn’t turn the fireplace on until the manager arrived. And guess what the manager never arrived.
When we sat down, a few of us asked for water without ice, and the waiter sighed like we were asking for something very difficult.
For the service overall, the orders for appetizers and drinks were taken quickly, but the main course took forever. No one came to take our order even after we told them we were ready. We went through four bowls of chips between four people before the food arrived.
We had ordered cheese on the side for the tacos, which was brought out when we were already ready for dessert. When I asked the waiter to take the cheese away, he responded very rudely and said he had another table to attend to.
Food was okay — the cauliflower tacos were the best option for vegetarians.
Desserts were really good.
