I got some grilled pork chops, let me tell you.. That thing, was SOOO DAMN GOOD. You get a LOT of food for the price, and the rice was my favorite. The pork chops were a bit too salty, but still really good! Service was also really good, The guy who served me was really kind. 10/10, would definitely recommend.

I had gone to Queens Supreme Court and asked Google for a Mexican restaurant near me, which this was the spot that was recommended and was a bit over 1 mile away by driving (6 minutes or so). Amazingly delicious, I mean everything that we ordered tasted good, including the fries that came unsalted. Serviced by a young woman that was very nice. I thought I was gonna have to use my broken Spanish and didn’t have to because the woman used her English and prevented my family from feeling awkward using our little bit of Spanish. Tiny little spot, I don’t recommend more than a party of six but I can see this place making a bigger party fit. They take cards, street parking if your lucky and I didn’t spot any high chairs for small children. I forgot to take a pic of my order and my wife’s but I had the birria & quesillo – delicious. Wife had the chili relleno, she said it was good. Kids had buffalo wings + french fries and salchi papas, I for pics of these. We also split a nachos texano – good. Oh, wife had the tamarindo betidas; it was so good and refreshing.

Decent spot, wouldn’t say it’s authentic Mexican but it’s good nevertheless. The staff was friendly, their aguas frescas were the best part.

I was born in Mexico and spent most of my childhood there so I’ve had some pretty amazing Mexican food. This place does not have good Mexican food. I repeat, they DO NOT serve good Mexican food. I ordered a glass of orchata, but it was brown. And sure enough when I took a sip, it tasted like water down chocolate milk. I ordered an arroz con leche and it tasted a bit burnt, and like they had added way to much condensed milk because that was basically what I was drinking. The drinks were so bad I asked them for water, which I though was the usual free glass from the tap, and they brought me a bottle (which I had to pay for). Finally, I though the tacos would be my saving grace, but the meat, I ordered bistec, carnitas and pollo, was just okay. Over all I was very disappointed with this meal. And to top it off the prices were unreasonable. $4.50 for the orchata, $3.50 for the arroz con leche, and $10 for tacos. I will never come back here and I would not suggest this place to anyone else.

The tacos were Mid (mediocre) and lacking flavor, not to mention I took a chance because the NYC food grade was pending… to top it off b/c I ask for a mixed Auga Fresca, Jamaica and piña they wanted to charge me $12 for an $8 drink. Had I know there was an up charge up front I would have said no. ( the guy was nice and only charged me $8 after me complaining) I was really hoping for great Tacos, in the Queens Area. One of my favorite spots so far is Girasoles Mexican Cuisine on Jamaica Ave, in Hollis. Great service and Tacos!!

Small little Mexican Restaurant that is absolutely fabulous! I had fried cheese, cactus, chorizo, scallion, beef, rice, beans, tortillas, and the HOTTEST jalapeño pepper I’ve ever had! Just fabulous and well worth tracking down if you are in Queens! Awesome restaurant that served the food quick and hot. All was fabulous!

Came here as recommended by Google Maps for a good match to what I have rated and reviewed. It was right on. Plenty of authentic choices for Mexican dishes, and everything was tasty and fresh. The quesadillas were full of flavor and there was red and green hot sauce to add more if desired. I also tried the “Jamaica” flavor agua fresca which is like a fruit punch.
This isn’t your typical chips ‘n salsa Tex-Mex type place. It’s very authentic to the point that it wouldn’t hurt to be fluent in Spanish if you have many questions. It’s literally off the beaten path around the corner from the busy streets in the neighborhood. I enjoyed the experience and the food.
Note that there is a surcharge for using a credit card so I recommend using cash if possible.
