Wow, was shocked by how awesome this place was. I just happened to stop in on a whim and had such a great lunch. Cool building, used to be a bank I think judging from the antique door for a giant safe. The waiters are very chill and laid back, and the food was delicious. The fries were perfect, and the tacos and burgers quite tasty. Highly recommend and I will be back to explore the vibe in the evening sometime.

Everything is good. Food only gets 4 starts because its bar food but its VERY GOOD bar food. Wings are excellent – probably top 3 within 20 minutes – on par with Union Jacks (Glenside) and the Fort. I like them more than Magerks. Cheesesteak eggrolls are excellent. Portion is slightly small but very tasty. Beer selection rotates enough and there aren’t any bad beers. Music is on point, layout is good and the crowd is good also. Staff are friendly and professional. They have enough TVs that if you are going for a game you can see it but not so many that its obnoxious. Prices are reasonable. Cut back hours make sense – just double check that they are OPEN before you go. I think they are closed Monday/Tuesday now.
Summing it up in one sentence – they got basically everything right.
Two more things to know before you go – when you order the wings – don’t say “Hot Wings” because they have “Hog (Hawg) wings” and they sound VERY similar – say “Buffalo Wings – hot” and it will avoid all confusion.
Also, bring a few quarters in case you end up needing to park at a meter. They don’t have a parking lot…have never parked more than 2 blocks away and the walk is worth it, however just make sure you have some quarters in case. I think its $2 for 2 hours.

Great experience at Harry’s Blue Bell Taproom.
Arrived around 7pm and there was adequate street parking along Butler Pike at that time.
The space was an old bank I believe…evident from the building’s exterior appearance and a vaulted storage door on the inside. The space was neat and well-maintained.
There was a playoff Penn State college football game on that night so it was probably a bit more crowded that usual. There were minimal seats available at the bar but there were seated tables available further away from the bar/TV screens.
Great menu with a good variety of beer and some interesting food options.
I only had a beer and some chicken nachos at the time…but I hope to return to try some other options.
Service (bartender) was great…he was friendly, attentive and efficient.

I typically will not write a review. It’s that bad that I’m inclined to write it. A group of us coming from an event decided to come to this establishment. This was my first time. The group I was with are frequent patrons. I asked for a spicy margarita for my wife and myself and was nastily told, “ I’m not making that. I’m not going upstairs to get what’s needed to make that drink.” The bar being crowded is not an excuse for terrible customer service. I serve patients in critical needs as a profession with a smile on my face and respectful no matter the situation. At the bare minimum maintain professionalism. I went to Bridget’s across the street and was met with courtesy and respect even though they were soon closing. You won’t miss my business I’m certain, but you are still getting this review in hopes it’ll make someone think twice about your establishment.

I recently went to a Harry’s Bluebell Taproom and the food was absolutely delicious—every dish was well-prepared and flavorful. The service was also top-notch; our server was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. They have a huge variety of beer, so you’re sure to find something you like, whether you’re into a crisp lager, a hazy IPA, or a rich stout.
My only small critique is the noise level. While the lively atmosphere is part of the appeal, it was a little difficult to have a conversation without raising our voices. If you’re looking for a quiet, intimate dinner, this might not be the place. But if you don’t mind a little noise and want great food and an amazing beer list, this taproom is a definite must-visit.

Craft Beer at its finest. Great food. Excellent service. A play on Phish and the Grateful Dead, but without it being shoved down your throat. Excellent for anyone, but someone who likes Jam Bands will certainly love the vibe!

Harry’s Taproom is a relatively new restaurant to Ambler. They have a beautiful open concept restaurant, with lots of light provided by the arch windows. There is a generous bar with rather large tv’s.
Our waitress was really nice and accommodating (when asking for ingredients off of a burger/etc sauce on the side).
The burger was juicy and the bbq was a well-rounded sweet but also savory sauce. The chicken tenders were, well, average chicken tenders. (nothing wrong with that)
