What a great little restaurant! It is a cute quaint place with great service and food. Cheri was terrific. Saturday night special…steak and shrimp with loaded mashed potatoes, a wet burrito, chicken tenders and a huge cobb salad. Bonus the drinks are served in boots!

I love little boots because my great grandpa who’s no longer around used to bring us here. However today, they missed the bacon inside my omelet was incredibly fatty and chewy and gross. I took a bite and spit it out. Cut it open and all these little white pieces were inside. The waitress noticed me pushing it all to the side and asked if everything was okay. I let her know the bacon wasn’t edible and she said she would “let them know” didn’t offer to bring my crispy good bacon or compensate in anyway.

So Crystal and I finally had a day off together and of course we had more work to do than if we were actually going to work. More posts to come about that. We started the day off with a date morning breakfast at
Little Boots Country Diner.

They’ve been closed because of a fire and remodeling. Our friend Heather Capen stopped in and made a post about their reopening so we gave them a try and all I can say is I love making reviews like this.

Crystal had the chicken tenderloin breakfast.
Not what I expected, it was much more!!
A breaded chicken cutlet hand battered and perfectly fried to perfection, tender and juicy. Smothered in sausage gravy and gooey cheese all atop a tender country biscuit with fluffy and crisp hash browns along for the ride.

There’s a common phrase used throughout the menu, Homemade.

I had a wet burrito for breakfast because of the homemade burrito sauce as mentioned in the description. I thought to myself “I’ll be the judge of that.”
There’s an abuela hiding back there somewhere with her magic spoon is all I can say.

Price point.
For today’s cost of eating out we’d say you get your dollars worth and served with a smile with a full coffee cup the entire meal. Priceless and deserving of the 20% tip coming in around $30 for 2.

We’ll definitely be returning after seeing the other delicious looking menu items passing by us in this bustling little diner.

The meatloaf and or the hot beef sandwich is going to be the next choice, one guy I talked to said with a big smile… “they’re super good.”

I really like this little place for a small town diner! Im a country girl so of course I love the decor. They even have a game I thought was decorations until my hubby took it apart! I was horrified for a second

Staff was friendly. The food was amazing. I loved the inside of the restaurant, small, but total country vibe. A for sure go to.

Food was good. My fish pieces were very long. 3 pieces were a lot. Fully loaded tater tots were delicious. Loved the liquid cheese and the shredded cheese! Bacon needed to be cooked a little longer. Onion rings needed to be cooked a little longer. Ace sandwich was delicious. Rueben was good but the meat was sliced too thick. Needs to be thinner and more like a shredded texture or just thinner altogether. Friendly waitresses! I love the boot mug, plastic, for our drinks.

What a great little gem. The family went for lunch and everyone (even the kids) Loved it! Friendly staff, fast service, and excellent choices. My husbands meatloaf sandwich was devoured, I had The Mother Clucker and the batter on the chi ken steps is so crunch and just Yum! Girls has the chicken straps and feies- also delish. Eat here. End of story.

Quaint little diner that gets packed but the wait wasn’t more than 10 minutes on a Sunday. There was a lot of hype about the boss hog omelette, which we ordered, but was slightly disappointing due to the lack of filling. Boss Hog would be disappointed! Cowboy breakfast was your typical eggs, meat, hash brown & toast combo and was decent. Bacon wasn’t the best ever but ok. Fun western atmosphere, but no country music wasn’t expecting Vanessa Carlton playing in this diner! Just a weird observation I made.
